Unhappy In desperate need of advice!!!!!!

My home is in foreclosure and is to be sold on December 4th. I called CW on 10-09-2008 and was told that I was preapproved for the heart program and that the paperwork would be mailed out in 15-30 days. As of today there is NO paperwork. I have called both the heart number and I have called and talked to numerous others at CW. They all told me the paperwork had been mailed out and to wait 10 business days which would have been the 7th of November at the latest. When the paperwork didn't come I called back on 11-12-2008 and talked to a very nice lady named Bert. She told me my account must have slipped between the *****s and that NO paperwork has been sent out also NO negotiator has been assigned to the account. She put in a request to her supervisor that my account needs to be looked ASAP and that I should hear from someone within 48hours. Well now its been 5 days later and I still haven't heard anything. I called this morning and got the same story " Its up for review by somebody and that it takes 30-90 days." How can they all tell me a different story??? I need help. They also told me its still to early to push out the sale date which is in 17 days. I don't want to lose my home and had a glimmer of hope when I first started calling. Now I don't know what to think or what I should be doing for that matter. Please Help!!!!!!

Re: In desperate need of advice!!!!!!

mngirl, sorry to hear of your situation. Unfortunately, CW works like that. I started my process Sept. 18th, and was told the exact same thing as you….I was pre-approved and my papers should arrive on Nov. 7th. I happened to call on Oct. 31st, just to make sure everything was on track, and I was told that “no papers were going to be mailed out” instead I was now in the HEART program and it could be another 30-60 days. I did speak to a supervisor who told me basically there was nothing he or I could do. He gave me his phone number and direct line and told me to call back on Nov. 13th, he would absolutely help me and have more information at that time.

Well, sure enough I called back on Nov. 13th, and his direct line was someone in the technical department and they never heard of “Timothy”. Finally I did reach his voice mail and left a message for him to call me back. That was 5 days ago and I am still waiting……and still no change on my modification request.

I understand how you feel. They tell you 10 different things and you don’t know who to believe or even know if there is any HOPE!!

Hang in there!! This board is great for support!

Hi mngirl,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining...................

Try calling into the executive team and see if they are able to straighten out the account info and get the paperwork to you.

Re: In desperate need of advice!!!!!!

I have called the executive team number 1-800-405-0078 and they transfer me to home retention dept 188-669-6650. I talked to a lady named Becky this morning and asked again about pushing out the foreclosure sale date. She said she would put in for a request for that to her team leader. Does anyone know how long this takes? Do they mail you some sort of documentation to let you know the sale date has been pushed out? Does it start getting printed in the local paper again for 6 weeks??

Re: In desperate need of advice!!!!!!

there are a couple of ways that you can check this............

Check with the county to see that the date has been moved or postponed.........
Also on the foreclosure notice there should be an attorney's office listed........you can also contact them and check as well.
