need help dealing with countrywide's round around

i still have not recieved any kind of help im still behind on my mortgage 2 months and havent been able to catch up i am racking up latefees i havent paid and i truly see no other outlets for my case, ive been patiently waiting since nov08 for naca they have repeatdly told me to be patient and to check back with them every 2wks... but thus far no reply form CW they have sent emails for updates but no replies.... HELP.. does anyone know the contact number for CW in regards to the stimulus help from obama to begin on 3-4-9? i was told to call CW to inquiry about the help... is there anyone out there that has info or suggestions... i was hoping to give everyone my good news but still in limbo and falling behind each month,, thanks for anyones input,

the final guidelines are being announced on Wed.............like any new program it may take a few days after that..........but you should be able to contact Home Retention to check at that time.......

we too are awaiting on naca.. we received an email stating great news, and explaining that our negotiations with cw are approved and that we will be hearing back by march 31st.. well, we called naca after getting email. and first person said, yes we had an approval to be in effect may 1st, but that our negotiator is whom we needed to talk to .. well one week later, we have not heard anything from that person. we called again, and this time naca rep said, well its still being IRONED OUT, and that cw still has a few things they want from us..so again our joy quickly when south.like u it has been months.. but honestly with naca its the farthest we have gotten with countrywide. so im holding on to naca for help. we just have to keep being patient ???.. lol.. i don't believe the obama plan will be for any of us whose home has fallen in price to below what we owe. i just think naca is being sooo overwhelmed with desperate homeowners, and that its all just too much for the reps. i wish you luck, and answers for us all soon.!

wow i have not been on this site since march2009... because i gave up all hope.. but still held on to the faith and prayed alot... i have been struggling with my mortgage since October2008... going back and forth with COUNTRYWIDE now known as BANK OF AMERICA and NACA and i have been maintianing a 3month past due balance with huge fees... until the NACA save the dream tour came to chicago on 7-24-09, i attended along with thousands of other people.. it was a very lengthy process and i was there from 10am to 930pm.... only to be told that the investor of my loan FANNIE MAE needed to give a final approval and proposal and my case will take longer. i left feeling sooo defeated and again loosing the hope.. but now i understand that with such huge number of people like us.. its only fair to say the process has to take long... after repeated calls to naca and everyone else i can harrass on the phone.. FINALLY on... 9-14-9 naca told me i was approved! and that there was a proposal on the table for me.. AMEN.. at this point i am waiting for a naca negotiator to contact me with all the details of my approval im not sure what the terms are but whatever i have been approved for is better then the situation im in now.. and a blessing to finally get to this point. i will keep you all posted on the proposal... and my suggestion to everyone struggling is please attend the naca tour shows .. its worth the wait and by attending the tours naca gives your case priority and you might even be modified right there on the spot if possible.. i personally saw with my own eyes people screaming and crying and clapping and chearing because naca saved their home so definately worth the entire day you need to spend..
