Countrywide Issues

I was searching the web to see if anyone else had a case similar to mine and I came upon this thread. My case is so simalar with the difference that the broker was (name removed) and that my signature had actually been forged on the orignal application and the information hand written, which was not in my handwritting. It also appears that they pulled my original signature from another document and attempted to place in various singnature areas. The document has my income inflated to the tune of $12,989.00 per month, I wish. This is more than double my salary. In addition there is an area on the application which is completed by the interviewer, they crossed out that it was a telephone interview and then checked that the interview was done face to face which was a lie. Then they had my ethnicity as a white male, when in fact I'm obviously African American! I will follow your advise as you gave this dear person. I also provided complete documentation as well. Any additional advice would be appreciated.

HI rckola79,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining.............

You may want to consider having those documents reviewed because if you see one or two violations on your own, chances are there are many that will give you leverage when going through the modification process if this is the next step that you would like to take............

Re: Countrywide Issues

Thanks Guys, I actually took the next step and contacted the attorney office that Cat used, seem like they know what they are doing, I'm waiting for a call from them. I'm not really feeling the loan modification, I was deceived into this loan and now that my loan amount has escalated and my home value has decreased I will take a big loss. I'm current on my Countrywide Loan but as you stated Cat I'm not wasting time so I spoke to the attorney's office today and they are looking into what it would take to sue them to get my money back.

My heart and prayers are with you all and I'm confident that your situation will turn around for your good.
