Waiting for permanent loan mod ?

    Hi there,

I am just finished my 4th trial payments under HAMP and my account manager with BoA said that I can continue paying the July payment in the same amount as I paid for the last 4 trial months. Will I receive permanent loan mod though ? I am so worry. Please advise.

Welcome and thanks for joining the forum.

The chances of receiving a loan modification once the trial period is complete is very high. BofA is correct that you should continue making the trial payments until a decision has been made. For most the decision will come once you completed 3-5 trial payments.

I would continue following up with BofA at least 1-2 times per week until a decision is made. Once they make a decision you should be receiving the agreement in the mail within 7-10 days or less..

I made all 4 payments for Trial period on time and contacted the account manager DANNY RODRIGUEZ with BoA every week for status of my loan mod. He always said ... your loan is prepared to be drawn for a permanent loan mod. Today, i got the letter by UPS and i do not eligible for HAMP .. reason: i did not make trial payments on time as guideline. This is so B.S. ... i have noted date and time that i called to make payments.
    2/21/2012 Mar payment
    3/30/2012 April payment
    4/30/2012 May payment
    5/29/2012 June payment
    6/25/2012 July payment

Please let me know the phone # of whom i should contact regarding this since i made all payments ON TIME (before the 1st of the following month) as shown above.

    Greatly appreciated !!!

Anxious to find out what happens in this scenario. That is total BS and I am sure you can prove timely payments so I would thing there is recourse here. Good luck with your situation but I would think there is something that can be done.

I called AM back and he said that this letter should not be sent out .. he is waiting to hear from his contact people to see why. I tried to email to Barbara Desoer but did not go through. I tried to fax a letter to 704-386-6699 BUT did not go through as well. Any other advise ... at this moment, i am waiting to hear from AM.

    Poison Ivy,

What I posted for you is the direct line to the executive team which you had asked for in your post. Did you call directly? And Barbara Desoer has not been with BofA for a couple of years now so her email would not be working. But you can call the number I posted and that will put you directly in touch with the CEO's office.

Still....still pending for review of why Denial letter sent out because of no payment as agreed. Any ideas why this letter was sent out anyone's ? Thanks.

Unfortunately the letter come from a different department and more often than not are incorrect. Hopefully the new RM will be more attentive than Danny R.

Got a new AM...much better...case. Escalated to the highest level to review my case after I emailed to the Office of BoA President.
Last week, I got 2 phone calls from Loan Resolution about short sale program and they said calling on behalf of BoA so I emailed to President office and confirmed that case is in review with escalation # from this office.

Just received the appology letter from BoA CEO office and all my concerns about trial payments were valid. Case is moving forward for escalation to review for Final loan mod .... What are the chances that I will get approval for a permanent mod ?

We would not be able to answer that question, nobody really can. Unfortunately you will have to wait until tomorrow when you can speak to the rep and ask.

After reading this thread and you STILL not receiving your modification, even after the apology letter, shows a possiblity of you getting turned down.. Do not want to dampen your hopes, but be on guard as this the way the nontransparency of the banks work. Very unconscionable to string you along like this. Next time you call them or talk to them tell them they are causing you emotional distress and that you did make the required payments and you deserve your modification.
