Something i Discovered On Countrywide Site

This is info for all Countrywide Loans customers whom have registered to view their accounts on their website.

You can view the status of your loan modification, I just discovered.

If you log into your account, then click on "account information" it brings up another expanded section where you would click on "workout information". From there you can view the status and any updates on your work out.

I thought you all may be interested in viewing this.

This is what mine says:

Workout Status Details: Your request for assistance is under review. During the review process, a thorough examination and analysis of your loan will be completed. During this time, we may or may not need additional information from you. It is common that you will not hear anything from us during the review period, but please be advised that all collections activities have been temporarily suspended during this review period. We expect more information to be available on 07/04/2008. If your status remains unchanged after the 07/04/2008, please call and speak to a customer service representative. Please do not call back before 07/04/2008 as that will delay the process. Please respond promptly to any calls or requests that you may receive from us during this period. Lack of response will cause your workout to be delayed or cancelled. Thank you.

Mine shows the docs received on June 6th, but on the status section it reads "no results found for this account"!!! What the heck does that mean? I was told not to call or do anything for the month and a half after I sent them in...

I think I would call in to your negotiator any how. The review on my account did not take near that long....but they all might be different. Do you have a negotiator assigned?

Is anyone else having problems logging onto Countrywide Home Loans's website?

I wanted to confirm they received both our primary and rental mortgage payments for July and I got an error msg.

OK so I faxed everything in on the 10th (including a new juicy hardship letter) and here is what it now says:

Workout Status Details:	Your request for assistance has been received and will be reviewed for potential Workout Assistance programs. Please be advised that all collections activities are continuing for your loan, as your loan has not yet been pre-qualified for a Workout Assistance program. We expect more information to be available on 07/21/2008. If your status remains unchanged after 07/21/2008, please call and speak to a customer service representative. Please do not call back before 07/21/2008 as that will delay the process. Please respond promptly to any calls or requests that you may receive from us during this period. Lack of response will cause your workout to be delayed or cancelled. Thank you.

now countrywide changed the date to 8/4!! I haven't called yet because they say it will delay the process... is that a load of you-know-what? I don't even know if I can make this months pmt if it doesn't change... Advice?? Please!!
