Question Countrywide run around! HElp.

I have been working with Countrywide for over the last two months now for a loan modification. However, every time I call back to get a update I get different answers and never get anywhere.
We are 6 months behind on our home loan and we want to keep our house. We were served our papers and about a month ago and now we have a sale date of Sept.4. I am scared and want to get something done. We have over $6000 dollars to get back on track but they first do not know if they will modify our loan. What should I do to get there attention?

What is your interest rate?
Is it fixed or adjustable?
If adjustable when is adjusting?
Is the hardship that caused you to get behind over?
What state are you in?

excluding the 6k when you put together your household income versus the household expenses do you show a surplus of $100-$250 at the end of the month?

My rate is 9.95. Yikes
Adjustable on March 2009
The hardship is over. My husband started a new job in October and it was period of adjustment.
Oregon is the state we are in.
I actually show about 650 surplus.

Any help what so ever will be great.

whity,

First you need to get that surplus down to around $100-$250........and we all know how expensive gas, groceries, and necessities can be.......


Once you have that good to go..........since you can show the surplus....
You need to put your hardship letter into the body of an email along with your account number, property address, and contact information.......and send it to each of the email addresses listed below........you should receive a response within 48 business hours getting you started..........

i know how stressful this is, really...this site is a godsend...keep working/talking/faxing/emailing/posting/enduring. somehow we will all get through...very good to share our experiences and advice being provided...sending boatload of emails certainly hasn't hurt. actually heard/talked to the same person twice/three times now. we are talking with laura_melara@countrywide.com. she is in the office of the president and the number we have for her is 1-800-601-2522, extension 5854. she actually answered her phone and returned our call! it's something anyway. it's b/c they received the mass email that we were contacted by her. good luck!
