Question Hsa Federal Express Mailings For Countrywide

Does Anyone Know Where The Mailings Are Coming From In Regards To The Home Savers Advance For Countrywide? I Didn't Get My Paperwork Last Week And Now Neither Company Knows Who Does The Mailings. Called Federal Express And All They Would Give Me Was It Was From A Countrywide Thing In Rockyhill, Ct. But There Is No Countrywide Modification In That City And State.

Re: Hsa Problem Help Chicago Survivor Or Anyone Else

Laura,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining.......

The best place to check on this program would be the backer of the program........
The Home Saver Advance Program is a Fannie Mae program......here is the information about that program and at the bottom of the second page is a contact number to Fannie Mae.......they may be able to help with CW as they are the ones backing the program......
Hope this helps.......

Re: Hsa Problem Help Chicago Survivor Or Anyone Else

Well, HSA supposably got ahold of the people responsible for the mailings. I can say I won't believe it until I see it. What a big mess. Thanks CW I am glad you all are on top of your game.... NOT!
It is amazing that only 3 or 4 people didn't get their paperwork mailed out of over 30,000 and I just happen to be the lucky one of them.
Called Fanne Mae, but the offices are closed till Tuesday.
This all started cause the local hospital was not happy with the 50.00 payment we were sending them every month, so they garnished my husbands wages at 300.00 a week. THAT HURT! They did that to us for most two months. We live off one income so something had to give, and it happened to be that we couldn't pay our mortgage on time. Never had an issue with mortgage payments for the past 7 years.

Re: need telephone number for this

Laura,

I had a question for you...........since you had not received the HSA paperwork yet.........I just wanted to ask if you were aware of what exactly the program does.......

Are you now past the hardship that caused you to become delinquent on payments?
Are you able to pay the payment moving forward?
Would you also be able to pay the personal loan amount that is used to bring the loan current in addition to the mortgage payment each month?

Re: need telephone number for this

yes we are past the hardship that caused this issue. we bought our house in 2001 and had never been late making a payment until this year when the hospital decided we weren't paying enough money toward medical bills for our daughter each month so they garnished my husbands wages. We even were on a payment plan where we made bi-weekly payments to mortgage to pay it off quicker. Of course we didn't participate in CW's arrangment because it was at least a couple of dollars per draft to do that. Instead we always just sent in half payments every two weeks through our online bill pay.
We have no credit cards, or other personal loans except our car payments. We live by what we can afford, because I stay at home with our daughters. Before my husband graduated college two years ago he worked in the union and our insurance wasn't the best and that is what caused medical bill issues.
I am aware of what the HSA program will do. In December we will have to pay 16.00 a month for 15 years at a 5% interest rate. Which isn't a big deal because as soon as our rebate check comes we are applying that toward it so we won't have it for more then a few months, and I did check with them about pre payoff pen. and there is none.
The biggest issue was that we were on payment plans for the past due amount, and we were paying it when we were suppose to. HSA gave us a call last week and told us that they were redoing our payment arrangment and that we are to start paying our normal payment June 1st. They said do not worry about the payment arrangment, and I called CW and a CSR said that my account was flagged that I was participating with HSA. Well, when when we did that we broke the arrangment.
Our biggest issue is we have equity in our home and our interest rate is only 6.25% so I am really upset that this lady told me this and then lost our paperwork. Which Stephanie who is in managment at the HSA part of the program said that she is having new papers sent out tomorrow.
My problem is that we have to have the paperwork signed and returned to CT by the 30th of this month which is in 4 days, when we don't even have the paperwork yet.

Re: need telephone number for this

When you receive the docs if you have any questions on them just let us know.........also you might have to overnight them back, but you do have an awesome rate.........I can see why you are fighting so hard to keep it that way.......I am sorry for what you had to go through to get to this point.....

The HSA program sounds like it is going to be a good fit for your family......
Keep us posted when you get the docs......

Re: need telephone number for this

Okay so I just found something regarding that address. Not sure if it is the right company but I do know that another member said the paperwork was coming from a third party. I was wondering if you knew about this company and if it might be of interest.
It is Intergrated Loan Services? That was what I found under that address. Something regarding Fiserv also.

If I have learned anything about this experience is to put more money back for a rainy day. lol. I started that last week with a high yield money market account with Capital One on the internet. 20.00 a week. Not much but it will grow.
My other alternative is to hit our 401K with a loan but I worry about that because I checked and to withdraw the amount of money to bring loan current will be thousands of dollars lost in the long run since my husband and I are only 30. I have till Wed. to decide because CW did decide to extend our payment arrangment to Wed. but I worry because that is just a CSR saying that.

Cat-
I finally figured out who is doing the mailings for the HSA program with CW. It is the above address of 31 Inwood Road in Rockyhill, CT. The company name is Intergrated Loan Services.

Smile Re: need telephone number for this

LOL I called and they wouldn't talk to me, they said that I would have to call CW. LOL LOL LOL ...... I decided to give them a piece of my mind though and told them that I would be in contact with fannie mae regarding their lack of experience, but it was the company that is in charge of the mailings for CW.
I ended up being able to redo my payment plan with CW so nothing will happen to our home now
I also contacted fannie mae to file a complaint about HSA and CW and how they are handling the HSA program, they are returning my call in a couple of business days. I guess they are pretty busy right now.
I truly feel sorry for the individuals that this affected because from what I understand there are a few more whose paperwork never got mailed, or lost or whatever other reason. Plus many people probably aren't even aware that they qualify for this program because of not being told more about it.
I can now relax though and thank my obssesive compulsivness for saving our home. (Oh and my mom whom is a realitor and gave me advice).
Thanks CAT for helping, even if it was just to listen to me grip. lol
