Re: Countrywide Heart - HSA Program

Countrywide uses a third party to send out HSA info if you qualify. Your loan has to be through fannie Mae I believe. It's not anything you can request. Take heart in the fact that Countrywide does not want anymore foreclosures so they are working with people more then ever before. You have got to get a couple of payments in cause if you get two notice of foreclosure notices then they will start proceedings.
Have you talked to Countrywide and asked them if your loan might qualify for HSA program? The bad thing is most CSR's don't know much more then what is in front of their screen.

Re: Countrywide Heart - HSA Program

I received the HSA program documents in May 2008. I immediately signed and returned the documents. I was approved the day after HSA received the documents. The problem is Fannie Mae has not funded my loan to date so Countrywide has transfered my loan to the Foreclosure department (aka workout department). I have continued paying my mortgage each month, but now I have to send my payment in by Western Union. Any idea when Fannie Mae will fund the program?
