He stated that they have now taken cases from third party servicers and brought everything back to actual B of A representatives. He proceeded to explain to me that although my online account states not to call prior to 11/26 since I have made my 2nd trial payment (as agreed) if I were to schedule my 3rd payment (due 12/1) then he could mark my case as trial completed and send it to underwiting for finalization. I scheduled the third payment to come out of my account on 12/1 with him, got the confirmation number and then he said that he would take the file to underwriting and make sure they did not need any more documents. He said he would call me back in about a half hour. True to his word he DID call me back after about an hour and confirmed that all necessary documents were in my file and they needed nothing more. He told me that it might be as late as January before I received my final mod package as they are so swamped so therefore I would need to make a 4th payment (if package was not received prior). He was also able to tell me what they were figuring for my gross income (I am self employed), but was unable to tell me how they calculated that (my gross income is actually almost exactly my gross minus the mortgage payment coincidence?). Anyway the mod payment should be $372 less than my actual payment and $284 less than my trial payments. He also told me that this new mod payment was to be principal, interest, taxes, and insurance. I was told that I might receive a phone call from an underwriter, but then again maybe not. Sounds like I am on my way (finally) but that trully remains to be seen. I can't help but wonder since I have not seen anyone else post something like this, if this phone call was not triggered by my email to MHA non compliance and the personal reply I received from (can't remember his name, but I posted it....it's too early here in the AM) someone at MHA non compliance that stated that my complaint was escalated to Fannie Mae (my investor) for them to deal with the servicer. |

I posted an article the other day but could not get full access to it as it requires a subscription (SIGTARP Slams Freddie’s HAMP Performance). Anyway, I believe we can expect to see mha compliance taking a more active role in resolving complaints and this "personal attention" may in fact have been triggered by your email... who knows?! In any case, this does sound like goods new for you so congratulations! I hope all goes well! |

I believe that many of us sent the email to MHA, but I did not see anyone post (other than myself) regarding a reply from them. The reply I received was from mailto:matt_richardson@mhacompliance.com I would suggest that members email directly to him. |

Perhaps if we all sent the email again to matt_richardson@mhacompliance.com he would be bombarded and then we all could get something going on this front. I just think that too many people are worried about the "me only" syndrome and not the big picture. Remember WE, the taxpayers, OWN the banks....its time for us to stand up to what we OWN...and put them in their place Taxation without representation is tyranny....where is our representation? It's time to represent ourselves! Last edited by montana59451; 11-07-2009 at 08:04 AM.. Reason: typing faster than I think |
