Had to leave at 3pm to pickup my daughter from school. My luck, they called at 3:05pm and told me to reschedule...but another appointment is 2 weeks out. Not very pleasant as I have an auction date on my home of Dec 1. Are they normally this incompetent? Don't understand why they don't call at the appointment time. Will I get anywhere if I call their customer service line? Can they help at all? The wait time for their customer service line has a VERY LONG wait time. |

Reschedule TWO appointments online. That way you have a backup. 2. Reschedule for early in the morning. The later in the day you schedule, the later they will be. Try to be the first one of the day. How behind could they possibly get then? |

I figure even if they are 1+hrs late, I'll still be home. Thanks for tips of an early appointment. Just frustrated as it took me 3weeks to get today's appointment and now I have to wait another 2 weeks. NACA just sent me an email requesting a Hardship Affadavit Form (4pgs). I don't see that form on their website. Where do I get that form? |

EstherL, I am waiting for my post to appear re: your Hardship Affidavit form. I posted a link that has it but the moderators of these boards have to approve it before it officiallly posts. You can always Google "Form 1021" |

I know you mentioned having to wait 3 weeks for the phone counseling, but did they start working on your case right away since you have a sale date fast approaching? Do you know how long it took for them to contact BOA? My sale date is 11/30. I've just finished sending in all of my paperwork requested. I wasn't able to get a phone appt until 11/23 @ 7am so I am feeling very, very anxious. I know that the sale/auction form said that they would prioritize my case. Any idea what that means? Will they just send notice to BOA to push back the sale date? Should I recieve some kind of confirmation that the sale/auction form was received or a phone appt set? Sorry to hijack your thread. Any help you have would be great. |

I'm in PST zone, does that mean they are 2 hours ahead? Or that my appt is actually at 9 my time? Anyone know what time zone they're in? |

Esthert... forget your situation.. think you had a temp mod that is now up which is why the foreclosure sale concern. I assume you tried a HAMP with servicer but denied? NACA has a special auction team I think there is a link on the top bar of the NACA site. I saw you said they only postpone 2 days before.. that is what Citi had told me, actually often the day before which of course is silly just to make us frantic. Now that Citi has be on indefinte hold I talk to title company and they do 30 days at a time and can request 15 days before next sale date. As I recall your problem is your not actively in HAMP or other consideration other than NACA after the forbearance. These sales over our heads are horrid when we are trying to get mods. |

I have to actually call Bank of America myself to get the auction post poned...don't totally rely on NACA to do it. They even send emails saying they don't guarantee they will get the date postponed. Yes, we tried HMAP but were denied after trial period of payments. They are telling me are mortgage is too high...but now NACA is telling me that isn't true...not sure who is lieing...only time will tell. I submitted my paperwork to NACA 3 weeks ago. They aren't really working on the file until they do my counseling appointment (although I believe they will try to post pone the auction...just not send info to servicer until the appointment). Not trying to worry you...BOA seems to enjoying driving us crazy with auction dates! If you go on NACA website, click on tab "Members", then click on "Counseling Appointments", then click on "Current Appointment" and you can see if you were scheduled for an appointment. The appointment times are for Easter Time Zone...so if it says you have a 5pm appointment...the appointment is 2pm west coast/pacific time zone. I unfortunately discovered this today... It's good to have a backup plan. I'm prepared to file bankruptcy at the last minute (right before auction) if necessary. I know that isn't pleasant, but I will do what I can to save my home. |

Due to our higher income, the only way we can qualify for chapter 7, it to include our mortgage in the bankruptcy. We are not interested in losing our home, and having to do chapter 13 to pay off the 2nd mortgage plus extra taxes to IRS. We figure if we can't get some DECENT help, we will just walk, as we are $332,000 negative in value. Sad to come to this conclusion, but after a year of fighting BOA, we'd do better to regroup and buy something much cheaper in 2-3yrs. |

Chap 13 is huge 3-5 yr burden and in my case I am above the unsecured debt limit. But other than that it would at least kick past due payments into the plan and just have to keep up on current payments to keep the house. |
