Am not understand what the point of my new negotiator really is...

So,

We have made our 2nd trial payment and at end of the month will make the 3rd (& hopefully final!) trial payment. When I called my negotiator, Neil he told me I had been assigned a new negotiator. Her name is Regina and she is as nice as can be but she really has no information! And I believe her! I just am not understanding at this point what the point of a negotiator is. So, I will pay my 3rd trial payment on 11/26 and cross my fingers that paper work will be sent after that. My online account says if I don't receive paper work by 12/21 to call in...so what a wonderful Christmas gift it would be to get the final mod paper work by then!
