BOA Runaround - am I approved or not??? - Loan Modification Forum

I've started the process with CW/BOA months and months and months ago. The first time I was pre-approved for MHA and waited over two months for a fedex package that never came, and when I called BOA they said I never returned the documents and they took it as a decline. I begged them to let me reapply because I never received a packet, so on 9/19 they again preapproved me for MHA, gave me an approximate trial payment amount, asked me to fax my documents, and said it could take up to six weeks for final approval.

At that time I was pulled out of foreclosure, so I was able to check the status online. I've called every week and they say it's inline for final approval, that it could take up to 90 days no. But when I called this morning it said I was back in foreclosure. The lady was not able to help much, said it could take 90 days for final approval, that as far as she could tell it was still being considered.

I don't know what to do. If I'm declined MHA, would they let me know via letter or something so I can consult an attorney and try something else? I'm sure as everyone knows I feel like no information I get from them is accurate at all and don't know what to do. I have a Fannie Mae loan, by all appearances it seems we should qualify.

Try this call HOPE they might have someone just setting there that deals with you lender directly and can call for you and find out something for you.
Someone else did this and I think it helped them!

Did you try to contact Naca? They have helped homeowners modify their mortgage loans and it's free.

Try this call HOPE they might have someone just setting there that deals with you lender directly and can call for you and find out something for you.
