I received my loan documents from Bank of America, but they don't say how many originals and copies to sign and return. Looks like 2 originals and 2 copies, and I don't know which to keep for myself and which to sign and return. Anyone can help? Also, I'm signing for my ex husband. I have a power of attorney. Does anyone have experience with that and has any advice? |

Our mod was held up for months because the notary insisted that one of the pages wasn't needed (we are CA, and there was a seperate CA sheet included). Even if it makes no sense, sign and send EVERYTHING and let them think you are a wierdo when they get this package full of stuff lol. |

When signing documents under power of attorney, I would suggest that you sign your name for your ex and then put "as agent for [name of ex]". I would also be sure to include a copy of the power of attorney when you send it back. If you are to sign before a notary, be sure to take the power of attorney with you to the notary's office. I too would have all copies signed as originals and just keep a copy for myself. |

I got a reply from an email I sent to my negotiator and per her instructions I signed and sent back two copies of each document; I signed for my ex "as agent"; and I included a copy of the power of attorney. That was on Friday. I got an email from her earlier this week saying that she got all the docs and everything is in order. Big sigh of relief. |
