Please humor me and tell me it does seem that way... I can't stand the waiting and the whole process seems to be taking forever, especially with the nitwits at customer service not knowing anything! Thanks, Rose |

I got a verbal "pre-approval" for the HAMP trial so I am just waiting to start that long process. I sure hope by the time I make a couple trial payments, they will have figured out how to do this in the stipulated time frame of three months, not four or five or six. I am soooo sick of this. I'm happy to at least get a pre-approval, but I was actually thinking they were offering me an in-house mod with no trial period, so much for that! FedEx, FedEx... where for art thou FedEx? |

ESPECIALLY SINCE WE LENT THEM ABOUT 46 Billion IN TARP MONEY( TAX PAYER FUNDS). PLUS THE HAVE THE MERRILL LYNCH PURCHASE IN LEGAL HOT WATER WITH THE US JUSTICE DEPT., OVER PRACTICES THAT SEEM TO HAVE BEEN ALL BUT ABOVE BOARD!!! - GETTING THE MODS GOING IS A WAY TO REDEEM THEMSELVES, SO THEY THINK!!! I applied for one 9/10/09 and calling them gets me nowhere but them wanting to know when I'm sending them some money, but when I go to my message board on their website it says do not contact us until 11/16 about your request we are working on it! |

He said that is the best they can do. I have a FHA loan and he said that is what the guidelines will allow. They dropped my interest rate from 6.5 to 5.3 but the payment only went down 150. He said they would put all the past due which is 6 payments back in the loan and I would start fresh. I dont know guys what do you think 150 doesnt really help in my situation, but if i dont take it do i lose the house. I told him 150 puts me in the same situation and he swears that is all they can do. Any advise?? |

However, the BofA rep she had tried to tell her that the change in her payment (about $200.00) put her at 31%. When she asked how he computed that, he told her that it was just her house payment only. She corrected him and told him it had to include homeowners insurance AND property taxes to get to 31%. He told her that was not the case and insisted she commit to the mod. She told him NO and said she was going to research the issue herself. She was able to locate the information and forwarded that to him. She hasn't heard from him since and it's been about 3 weeks. |

We cosigned on another property that belongs to my MIL. Now NACA might not take our loan mod package. That house is in Foreclosure too and we do not make $$ off of it. I guess we will see. If that does not work out well, there is no plan B other then letting BofA know we cannot afford their offer. |

She's not like me (passive), she is aggressive and heaven help you if you make her mad. She is pissed beyond belief and was thrilled to get the information I gave her. She said she was sending an email to the OOP by the end of today. I suspect she'll having them right where she wants them before the week is up! Thanks again. |

I also mailed my 4th payment that same day which is due for Nov 1st. I was extremely happy and relieved until I read under "Making Home Affordable" forum and someone says that their status changed from approved to processing and online status is not really accurate. I want to confirm with someone here until I call Bank of America and will be on hold with them for 2 hours to talk w/ someone who does not get what I am saying at all. Please post if you received a package or a negotiator call or if you know for sure this "approved" status is real or not. Thanks! Also, I assumed that "approved" means approved for a permanent mod as they mentioned about "terms and conditions" and stuff. Though I know this is just generic wording. Please see below:
