I just received a call from a survey taker in Idaho. he knew our names, and asked many questions, (15 mins. worth) in regards to our loan status, rating on scale of 1-10 of help from our bank, when they contacted us (never), were we aware of all the government programs, did we qualify, if we had been called by collection agencies in regards to our late payments, what level in the process of modification we were in. and what would we like our bank (BOA) to do to help. asked where I got all of my info. in regards to the programs, and if I had ever sought anyone outside of the bank for help. he could not tell me who is doing the survey, said they were not told, and is sending a 50.00 check for participating. I definitely gave him more than he asked for! Maybe, someone out there cares?? ( I doubt), but hey, ever the optimist! Did anyone else get that survey? |

As long as you don't have to give personal info like SS number perhaps these surveys showing the problems could help. But it would certainly be interesting to know who is paying for the surveys and their motivation. |

He told me, they don't tell them.. no personal info, just your name and address. (he already had my name, verified my address.) well, if its the government, it means they will sit on capital hill and think about it for a couple of months, then vote to do nothing. (as usual) |

It looks as though this company is valid, for doing surveys only. what would the scam be? they were relevant questions to what help and when, was offered by the bank. very direct, no personal details requested. we shall see if anyone else gets the call. at this point, no harm, no foul. |
