BoA sold my loan to chase on the middle of the modification.

After dealing for 12 months with BoA for Loan Modification and getting it approved on October 8th I received a letter yesterday stating than my loan has been sold to Chase.

When BOA approved your loan modification on October 8th, did they send you a loan modification agreement to sign?

I find it beyond ridiculous that they would sell your loan 5 days after approving your loan modification??!! I'm thinking maybe Chase is involved in the modification that was approved? Maybe it is a matter of transferring the loan to Chase which will continue the modification process!

Call them and ask for clarification..please keep us posted.

Not understanding this one, why would BOA sell a loan to Chase? That would be a competitor. Is Chase your first?
