I asked her what this was for...she just said she had been contacted by a 3rd party broker to do an interior appraisal on my home. I called BoA on Monday to ask what this was about. I was told it was a common practice (BS). the appraiser came today and took pictures of the interior of my home. This afternoon when the mail came, there was a letter from BoA stating that I had requested a short sale and that an appraiser would be contacting me. I have been dealing with this (*&)*(&%^) for 12 mths, but the words "short sale" have never come out of my mouth. I talked to someone in the short sale dept and was told to write a letter that stated I never requested this. another agent in the Home Retention dept, started a research request on how this happened. He said he had never heard of this happening before. I have just paid the 2nd month of my 3 month forebearance...I swear those people do not know what they are doing!!! Except to drive all of us CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I would send a letter tomorrow and make sure they know that you did not authorize the short sale and since they said you requested it, ask them to please provide with proof of that. |
