Suzanne Bain is officially "off my case". So looks like I'll have to write another letter to get another monitor. *sigh* Hope things are moving for you! |

Hello... Nothing new here either. Last Wednesday I tried to reach my negotiator for a few follow-up questions without luck. I did however, speak to another lady in that office, who took the time to review my status, and confirmed that I am approved for the MHA program. She said it takes a minimum of two to three weeks for the documents to be sent. The good news is that this week is week two! So..... Still keeping my finger crossed! S

I'm super leary of that department, I'd hate to speak with someone else and receive mixed messages! Hopefully you get yours next week! I heard they're sent out on Wednesdays. I'm going to call FedEx next week and see if there's anything headed our way. Keep me posted |

However, they did confirm again, that I am approved. I think this is where Granny's lesson of "patience is a virtue" gets tested! Mommy, I hope you are right about Wednesdays! Maybe we both will see something by the end of the week. Let me know how things are going with you all... Skipper

I was told up to 30 days from the end of September for the documents (meaning late October), with the modified payment to start November 01. Skipper |

I've been told by negotiator that my 6 month forbearance program (I'm in my 2nd month) is now a MHA trial mod. Was this the process in your case? If so was your new mod payment the same as your forbearance payment? Last edited by Housebroken13; 10-07-2009 at 06:25 PM.. Reason: error |

Nope, this was not my case... I made the regular payments up until September (ran short of $$ waiting for the mod). I was current through most of the process. As for what you have going on, I would be curious as to the status of your MHA documents. The whole MHA process is spelled out pretty clearly, but I do not recall any step that included a forbearance conversion type of situation. Please let us know how it progresses! Skipper

I haven't called for an update and trying that whole patience is virtue I don't have thing. *sigh* Depending on how busy I am at work tomorrow I'll be calling. Also need to call NavyFed and refi our pos car. Yea, we still have it. DH and his dad are redoing the brakes soon. The electrical issue still isn't taken care of and I'm noticing it in more things now (like the lighting inside the car, but no biggie). As long as my brake lights (and brakes for that matter) continue to work, we won't be doing much. |
