Banks already offer good money to open new accounts, but what if we all ask them / the other banks, to step up their efforts 1,000 + times more, to take business away from Bank of America and we will help them to do so.

It would be my pleasure to promote the C$CCC Customer $Cash Coupon Campaign....

This would divert Millions and Millions of Dollars away from Bank of America - Watch B of A stock Plummet

I am 100 % serious - It might become as simple as clipping coupons on line or right here on loansafe or just asking any bank to send you out 10 to 1000 coupons etc or stopping by the brancha grabbing a handful

This idea is already out there and is working on a small scale but this is the perfect time to make a BIG statement and take business away from Bank of America. On a VERY LARGE SCALE

Lets paint a bulls eye on B of A for now and help customers to get out of B of A and go to another bank and they PAID to do it.

It is a Very simple and effective plan that would literally cost B of A Millions over the course of just 1 year, not to mention the long term negative consequences.

In just one day 100,000 B of A people could call another bank and ask to receive a $100 coupon to open a new account at the new bank - Free money and FREEDOM from the B of A devils.

The best part is you GAIN money and B of A loses money and customer confidence and they also lose Wall Streets confidence, while B of A stocks plummet down

If everyone took the time to contact their state representative, we can make a difference. In talking to Congressman Conaway's office (my rep), I was told they were not able to help me if my issue was "banking" in nature. However, the could help me if it was fannie mae/a government issue. This is a government issue. Please everyone, contact your representatives EVERY day so that they know you are a registered voter and unless something changes, we will make a difference come election time. Moe, you are right. It is proof. I am also a registered voter and I do vote. My State Senators have not helped. One of them is running for governor. Wow. Wonder who I will vote for, for governor? I agree with Moe. Again, we must focus on making sure that when a bank or other organization makes the landslide 180 decision to even offer to CONSIDER being collaborative, we must help keep that window open for them. It's gossamer thread at this point with these big banks.

Just like a junk yard dog pushed back into a corner (the banks) as the heat goes up for them, they survey their options for success. But they can swing many ways still, and HURT those who attack them.

We must by sympathetic to their goals (whether we agree with them or not), they are going to seek their goals no matter what we want (their goal is to remain in business and remain profitable, and that is NOT an evil goal folks). We simply need to be open to discussion on how they can do that WHILE NOT SCREWING US. Sort of like taking a drug addict through rehab. Baby steps, painful for all involved, but possible.

Thanks TB. I have fought them for a long time to no avail. Now is the time to work out a treaty if the terms are right. I would rather provide benefit to the community as opposed to just blogs and rants daily. One can only do that so long when you realize the best way is to mediate and come to an agreement without selling your soul.

It's what NACA has done as well as the government. It's what waring parties do to mediate differences for the benefit of eachother's goals.

Change with banks has to start with Washington Native. People have to wake up. However that is easier said than done.

Main Street should form a new political party and back them with $1 to $5 at a time and use the internet to elect them. Normal main street folks and not career a$$ ki$$ing politicians.

We need small business owners, teachers, moms etc in Washington, not PAID POLITICAL PUPPETS!

Dang it Moe - You are spoiling the week I had planned to visit about 10 Bank of America branches and solely wait in their B of A parking lots and start placing flyers and coupons on all the Bank of America customers cars to SWITCH BANKS and get PAID to Switch .

I know I ALONE could personally get at least 500 + to switch in just 1 week.

BUT OK OK I FULLY understand you points and they are all reasonable and well thought out, just as my points well thought to, as you say, "Boycott" B of A and get PAID CASH for doing it.

Please do mention to Dan Frahm that you have thousands of people who are ready to hit the Bank of America parking lots pavement, with the C$CCC / Customer $Cash Coupon Campaign, to make it an easy no brainer for thousands of Bank of America Customers to participate in the C$CCC / as they will be paid to - CLOSE their B of A Bank Accounts for $Cash.

I'm going to be meeting with them on Thursday Caldwell. This is big and hope that we can work out some kind of system to expedite decisions to the members here. I know it will not be perfect or what everyone wishes for, but better than having no open lines of communication. If that was the case, you all know I would be the one leading the boycotts and sit ins.

Thanks TB! I guess it is just one of those things that where they feel it is better to keep you enemy closer than to piss him off. As I have stated before, my goal with LoanSafe was to give people free info and also provide a platform for homeowners to share.

My goal was to connect homeowners with mortgage servicers and be an online portal for you all to get help. I'll always be at arms length and this is just to provide better help to people here.

But hey, if everyone wants to back me up and start doing boycotts and drive across country, then maybe I'll reconsider. But I don't think too many people are ready to fight like that. I know because I have been fighting a lot by myself online for years.

THANKS2U - I think many of these banks are fully aware of the power of this forum if it was properly bottled and unleashed on the world. I noticed a huge increase in members and traffic when I started talking about uniting and big boycotts. But in the end, 95% of you just want to save your home and move on with your lives.

Sure 5% would do what you say above, but not nearly enough to be effective. I mean, don't you think the trillion dollar bail out would have done what you suggest above?

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents... BofA runs similar offers from time to time, too. If we leave one bank in a "boycott" to go to another big bank, it seems to me we would all just be trading places. Those boycotting Chase might turn to BofA, etc. If (and that's a big IF for right now), we were to boycott one targeted bank or another, I would highly suggest avoiding ALL the big banks and going to a local bank or credit union.

My primary reason for switching banks and closing my accounts with BofA was because in June, they were doubling the minimum balance requirement for savings and I wanted to go somewhere else with better terms. Then the overdraft fees started rolling in because my DH forgot about a couple of auto drafts. Those fees spread like wildfire! Instead of closing the accounts, we just withdrew all of the money. Definitely not the right route! Anyway, I just got things all straightened out last week. But my point was that my original reason for closing was not a boycott, but did turn into one after the overdraft fees (oh, and the whole loan mod mess just made it easier to make the decision to switch).

Perhaps it would be better to round up all the GOOD GUY n GAL BANKS and get them on our side, in that these not so well known good banks & Credit Unions will AGREE to run promotional campaigns that state something like - - --

$ CASH $ - 4 U 2 OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH US !

When done correctly, it would literally take millions and millions of Dollars away from Bank of America and other Banks.

Much like phone companies and cable companies, they all run promos to steal business away from competitors. The point is to take business away from your competitors for as long as possible, as smart people will keep on switching from company to company to save money / make money....

There is always a purpose, a reason... Behind almost anything to do with money.. Yes ...

You take your savings and put it in a 4 % interst bearing and if another bank offers 5% you switch to them..

Our purpose is to save our homes and doing anything to accomplish that purpose, is the reason we do what we must do...

If we must resort to moving our money from Bank to Bank to Bank and then doing it all over again, in order to first HURT the Banks Profits and also to get that Cash Coupon money to boot, then that is what we all must do...

Play their money game better, turn it back on them, they would NOT EXIST without our money - They use us like cattle !

Of course to get back on track, the main reason for doing anything to hurt the banks profits is to let them know, they need to help us stay in OUR HOMES..

The Banks are the ones who lied and cheated and coerced us into loans they knew we could not afford in clear violation of TILA laws and they all did it to make a fast buck and to eventually say "POOR US...
