Changes to BofA Website?-Financial Infor. Worksheet

Hi, I just checked my online status and now had the pay online feature removed, said I couldn't make any payments online (not like I was going to anyway). I know that's not a good thing. I've seen people post when they get it back that they're real happy. Why is that?

I also noticed under the Workout Information button that there is a now a Financial Information Worksheet button you can click on. I've never seen that before. Anyone else? It has the date it was submitted, which you can click on.
Type Account Number

Home Loan XXXXXXXXXXXX
Submitted on 09/29/2009

Financial Information Worksheet

By providing your current financial information, we are able to evaluate your eligibility for the homeowner assistance programs sponsored by the government and various other advocacy organizations. Once you have provided the requested financial information, your account information will be reviewed, validated against your credit report, and evaluated for eligibility in the available programs.
Making Home Affordable
One of the many programs currently offered through the federal government is the Making Home Affordable Program which focuses on reducing the number of foreclosures and making it easier to refinance loans. The program is designed to help bring relief to responsible homeowners who either have lost equity in their homes and are unable to refinance or are struggling to make their mortgage payments.

You may be able to lower your payment under the Home Affordable Modification Program. There are no fees and no minimum credit score requirements.

Are You Eligible?

Answer these 5 questions to find out if you may be eligible:

  1. Is your home your primary residence?
  2. Is the amount you owe on your first mortgage equal to or less than $729,750 for a single unit dwelling?
(Multiple unit limits - 2 units less than $934,200, 3 units less than $1,129,250 or 4 units less than $1,403,400)
  3. Are you having trouble paying your mortgage?
  4. Did you get your current mortgage on or before Jan. 1, 2009?
  5. Is your payment on your first mortgage (including principal, interest, taxes, insurance, and homeowners association dues, if applicable) more than 31% of your current gross income?
*Calculation : To calculate the, payment ratio, multiply the reported monthly Gross Income by .31 (Example: $3526.00 gross income x .31 = $1,093.06, the customer's total monthly payment must be greater than $1,093.06 to qualify)
If you answered "Yes" to all the above you may be eligible for this program. Please complete and submit "Financial Information Worksheet" online. Simply click on "Apply" link adjacent to the account number that you wish to apply to start.

In order to complete this financial worksheet, you will need to provide information related to your monthly income, monthly income for any coborrower, Homeowners Association Fees, property tax and homeowners insurance information. You will not be able to save the worksheet prior to submission, so please have this information available when you begin.

If your intention is not to keep your property, even if you could be qualified for an assistance program, do not continue to submit your financial information here. Please call us directly to discuss your options at our toll free number: 1.800.669.6650

Then when I click on the date is says this:

We received your Financial Information Worksheet on 09/29/2009. This information will be kept on file for 30 calendar days. After our review process, you will receive a result of the assessment via United States postal mail. Access to this page is disabled until 10/29/2009.

If you have had a change in your financial status since submitting the Financial Information Worksheet, please contact us at 1.800.669.6650. Otherwise, you will receive your evaluation results as quickly as they are available. Thank you!

BUT.....I spoke to someone on the 30th, who said we weren't approved.

That certainly is new...wonder if this is in part due to the complaints to Dan Frahm. It shows up under mine, too. I am stunned...is BofA actually doing something smart and helpful? Am I dreaming?

I know! I hope I'm not dreaming either and hope it's something good. Just concerned a bit though 'cause that rude lady that called me on the 30th, said we didn't qualify. But it said on their website I'd be notified by U.S Mail. Did you notice there's also a place where you can enter your financial information yourself? I clicked on it, but then it said I was submitted already on the 29th.

What date does yours have?

It's something good Melanie, don't worry about what that last clown told you over the phone.

I seriously hope so, Garry. You know I will post here as soon as I hear something. We received a call yesterday from Irene Tapia who is the person who called on behalf of Dan who left a message saying she was going to get in touch with the person who is reviewing our modification. Sounds good, but with BofA you never know. I'm not going to hold my breath. I got kinda happy last time only to be let down.

Re: Changes to BofA Website?-Financial Infor. Worksheet

I'm really confused and worried. I have already made 2 trial payments, my 3rd trial payment is due on November 1st.

Yet when I go to the new link "Financial information worksheet".. I get nothing except a link to apply for a loan modification!!

Anyone else has the same problem?

I wouldn't be too worried. It appears this is a new thing for BOA. The website is probably automated and not tailored to each individual's current status.

Re: Changes to BofA Website?-Financial Infor. Worksheet

Interesting, I have that same button on my account now. It was not there yesterday afternoon. It say the mortgage pay feature is not available. Now this morning, under Financial Hardship, it says:

When I click on the financial information worksheet, it says I submitted it on Sept. 25. I most certainly did not, and that was not one of the days I was called or called them. What is going on?

At this point, we do not really want a loan mod, because even if it was 2% for 40 years, we could still not afford it due to changes in our job situation (beyond our control). We have decided to work more realistic hours, cutting down from 120 hours a week. Does the financial worksheet just mean things are going to get drug out even longer? If they have

I think it is tailored to each individual's status. According to Melanie and Stephslr, the financial worksheet shows when they submitted their docs.

In my case, it gives me a link to apply for a loan modification!!

the workout status on this website shows that I am under a repayment plan as of 8/24. Impossible. We did not even discuss a repayment plan until September 10. Beware of the information on the website. It could very well be inaccurate.

I also noticed that this morning in fact I posted about it and found this post, anyway would you fill that apply portion out if you do not have a mod. I finally after 6 months of NOWHERE call the oop and they said I would recieve my negotator call yesterday, which I did not. I already sent them my budget and 2 months of pay stubs and bankstatements. Whould you fill that apply section out again?

Re: Changes to BofA Website?-Financial Infor. Worksheet

sickandtired. I wouldn't complete anything on the website. The info posted on the website may very well go to someone who is not going to be your appointed negotiator. I think the bank is just trying to get something set up that is more streamlined, hence the change in their website. Maybe this is for the people who are not in the same stage of the process where you are. Since you are already at the point where the OOP will be assigning a negotiator to you, I would just wait until Monday. If a negotiator does not call, I would send a nice email to Barbara to let her know that you have not yet been contacted. If your negotiator asks you to fax info to him or her, then I would. You have made progress. That is a definite positive. Be patient. A negotiator will contact you.

I think they have so many departments that are all working on different bits and pieces that it takes them a long time to get it all back together. Sent in my docs, then they called and wanted a Schedule A (itemized deductions) and then wanted me to re-send by bank statements because they could not read them after they scanned them and a continuance letter from Social Security. They got all of those but I'll bet it takes a good month before it gets put into my file. The girl at HR who called stated that they get 800+ faxes per day.

NO WONDER OUR ACCOUNTS ARE NEVER UP TO DATE!

I doubt seriously that we need to fill out the online application, makes no sense, I mean we have already applied, signed a trial modification agreement, paid trial payments. It is simply a mistake!

Re: Changes to BofA Website?-Financial Infor. Worksheet
