Does anyone know about ING? - Loan Modification Forum

I have a friend that is being told she cannot get a modification with them because they were not part of the bailout... I can't believe this could be true, anyone know anything about them?

Moe has a list of lenders on this link, I've never heard of ING so this is the best I can do, sorry. Lenders Participating in Making Home Affordable

ING is not part of TARP because it is based in the Netherlands not the U.S.

It does not have a physical presence in the U.S, just online Direct ING. It was more strict than most in mortgage underwriting but have no idea if they are doing any mods.

Thanks, I guess that makes sence then. it's crazy then that they have not started forclosure preceedings, she has not paid a payment in over a year. She has a 2nd with BofA....
