It amazes me that our state lawmakers have the time to put forth idiotic bills like allowing guns into bars but don't have the foresight to perhaps help out AZ homeowners by cutting their property tax bills. Everyone in this state has lost equity in their homes. Now they want us to pay more taxes when services are being cut?? I really, really, really wish I had never moved to this horrible state. |

The last house of comparable square footage went for 145K in our neighborhood and it was newer and had more upgrades. The genius that assessed ours put our home value 8K below what the builder is asking for a brand new, upgraded home. Our place is almost five years old. |

Could be much lower in 2 years but with the budget crisis of the school systems and the State in deep financial trouble they will have to raise the assessment ratios or the various tax rates to avoid financial diaster especially for the schools. We aleady have one of the lowest funding of schools in the nation but an economy and State revenues highly dependent on home valuations, construction etc. |

Works great for the rich, or business owners that want to become rich by paying their workers Welfare wages with no health care, but thats about it. Oh ya, it works pretty good for all the illegal aliens too. |
