He sure will. While, we the little dudes are losing our sanity, marriages are falling apart and we're forced to move. What a jackass he is.

Re: BofA CEO Ken Lewis plans retirement (news)

An excerpt from the NY Times article on 9/30/09:

Mr. Lewis has no exit package but stands to collect pension benefits worth $53.2 million, largely from a retirement program that was frozen in 2003, according to an analysis of corporate filings by James F. Reda & Associates, an independent consulting firm. Mr. Lewis also will walk away with $81.6 million in stock and other compensation that he accumulated over his career, the analysis found.

This isn't right.

Wow, must be really nice. Meanwhile how many people are lining up at food banks at the buttcrack of dawn in the hopes that there will be enough food on the shelves so their kids don't go hungry? And how many of those people have lost their jobs due to the economic downturn that people like Mr. Lewis helped to cause in the first place? Egads, maybe it is a good thing that people like us cannot fathom how these scumbags can sleep soundly at night.

A $53 million retirement payday for BofA CEO Ken Lewis - Oct. 1, 2009

Another article detailing his pension. I guess if the door does hit him in the @ss on the way out, it's a-okay! This just makes me sick!

Re: BofA CEO Ken Lewis plans retirement (news)

Is it possible for our government to step in and put limits on a CEO/top official salary? If they cannot do this, they do control the IRS and can impose severe penalties for an income that is excessive. Of course the tax code would have to be written to be sure there were no loop holes. It is possible. Just not probable.
