? about CW/BofA Workout Information - Approved

I was reading through the site and figured out from here that I could check my workout information through CW/BofA website. Here is what is said:

Your Loan Modification has been approved, and all collections activities have been suspended as a result of this approval. Next steps will include a call from a workout negotiator who will explain the terms and options of your approved workout including all conditions required for the final completion of the workout, such as upfront funds. You will also receive a package of documents in the mail. These documents are time sensitive and must be signed, notarized and returned to us in 10 days, including any required upfront funds. If you have not received your workout package and/or a phone call from your negotiator by ffice:smarttags" />11/02/2009, please contact us. Please do not call back before 11/02/2009 as that may delay the process. Please respond promptly to any calls or requests that you may receive from us during this time period. What exactly does this mean? I am also showing no docs submitted. My negotiator is Jennifer Hall and I emailed her all my stuff. I also have an appt. with NACA. Should I keep the appt.?

Can anyone share their experience with this? What happened and what can I expect? Thanks!

I would also like to add that I never recieved any packet from Countrywide at all but I did email bank statements, check stubs, and budget information to Jennifer. But yet it still says approved? How can this be?

Call Countrywide and see if they can give you any details. They may tell you over the phone depending on who answers.

Since I have never gotten a message like this, I can only speculate that this is good news. However, you don't know the terms yet so it could be a crappy offer so I would contact your nego and try and find out what the offer is...no sense in getting all excited yet! Nonetheless, congrats on making it to this stage. Many of us, myself included, haven't gotten approved for anything yet. Do post what you find out!

The same thing as yours happen to me 2 on 9/16, but then i emailed OOP and they called and said I would have a neg assigned. So who knows will still prob be denied again and again as they keep doing to me.

I would suggest calling Jennifer Hall - she was also my negotiator at the time when I received the same "Approval" message - including the same callback date and information date. When I spoke with her, it was not approved and she was just getting ready to submit it to my investor. Shortly after that, I was assigned to a new negotiator and just received a call last week that my investor had approved a modification but I am still waiting on a package and the terms. Good Luck!
