Sale still posted on Recontrust Site

We have a sale date of 10/27/09. received our trial paperwork, returned it and made 1st payment 9/25 (wasn't due until 10/1), so the sale should be stopped. They posted my payment to my account but still show no documents online and no workout info. In fact the site states "No workout information related to this account".

However, since our negotiator Jessica told us that as of the day she called us about the trial the sale is cancelled (which was like 9/1) the recontrust site does not update to remove the sale date. I have called weekly and even to Home retention in Texas and they all say that they are putting in some form to get sale date cancelled. IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET! Jessica said she did it again and changed some type of code in my account while I was on the phone with her. What to do? Just believe them? I think NOT!

I have had to get THREE sale dates postponed...most often than not, they wait til the last minute. It probably won't be done until about a week before the actual date. Keep calling BofA and bugging them about it. There was a 'mix up' on ours...BofA kept telling me they sent the request and did get it postponed, but Recontrust kept telling me they received NO request and would not postpone it until they did. I spent an entire week calling back and forth. I was finally able to get someone to listen to me and got it stopped just TWO HOURS before my home was scheduled to be sold. Call the Foreclosure Dept. and ask to talk to a supervisor.

wow 2 hrs before the sale thats gotta be so stressful. we accepted the bofa offer thru naca and i been calling bofa about delaying the sale they just keep saying they requested it but the recontrust site still has it schedule for oct 5 thats just a few days away. should i e-mail the OOP also?

Who did you call at Recontrust? Do you have their # and name so I can see if it was actually done and just not updated?

chow, yes it was VERY stressful...Yes, you should email OOP considering the 5th is in just a few days.

montana, Recontrusts # is 1-800-281-8219. I had to talk to a different person each time I called. When you first call them, it will be an automated line asking you to say either 'trustee sale' or several other options. It's confusing at first because there doesn't appear to be an option for talking to a person.. Say 'customer service' and it will get you thru to a rep.

Spoke to Recontrust. They state they NEVER received any of the 3 requests by B of A to cancel/postpone the sale. Sent an email to barbara Desoer and Dan Frahm regarding this issue as well as leaving a message for my negotiator Jessica Gedang. She really has been wonderfully responsive and returns my calls quickly.

I'm not surprised..that's the same thing that happened to me. I think whoever is supposed to be sending the postponement requests from BofA isn't doing their job.

why would they even propose a mod or trial period if they were just gonna let the house go to auction sale. i dont know sometimes, we are in the mercy of the banks and its employees.i hope e-mailing the OOP makes a difference cause this is B.S.

Just heard back from Jessica....she was furious that it was not done. She placed a call to whomever again and then called me back a couple of hours later and left a message that it has been done. I will be checking with Recontrust in a day or two to confirm. Want to give them the opportunity to update the system

Jessica Gedang is a negotiator who was assigned by OOP. Don't know if she is a supervisor, but whatever her position she does her job very well.

Called Recontrust again today. A "Hold" was put on the sale by B of A after Jessica called them yesterday. The girl at Recontrust said that is takes quite a bit of time to change things on their website.

Maybe they should hire some folks who are out of work so they can pay their mortgages?

a quite a bit of time to change and update there website?thats a real serious problem they got there. i would hate to loose my house to sale cause there website didnt update fast enough.oops sorry but we sold your house already to late.geeez

montana, I'm glad to hear they are working on it. I know that the Recontrust website where I live gets updated pretty quickly, so keep checking back to make sure they are telling you the truth.

yes i did,check the site last night and its delayed for 30 days while were on the trial period thru naca.i tell ya i hate to be doing this every month.

Oh, good. I was hoping you were able to get it postponed, since the 5th is just in a few days. I got some unexpected docs left on my doorstep today... it's a special forbearance. I don't know if it's legite or if they're trying to pull the wool over our eyes. I faxed them in to NACA. Hopefully, they don't take too long to respond. Looks like I will spend all day tomorrow on the phone.
