On trial mod, submitted complaint on KPHO website!

Hello,

I just made my last trial payment to BofA. As advised by Moe, I submitted my complaint about the run around and my second loan from BofA, I received a package asking for the same info (hardship, pay stubs, bank statements, monthly expenditure breakdown) for my first mortgage- which I am on the trial period. This Fedex comes from the Office of the CEO and President of BofA in Simi Valley, CA. Should I submit what they asked for? Will they make me restart my trial period again? I am tired of this whole process that I now have sleeping problem! Please comment or suggest. The letter requires the above docs by October 8th.

Thanks!

There are two separate trial periods the way I understand it, one for the HAMP, then you go on another for the second lien program. Your trial payment should be 1 or 2% of your second lien.

They referenced the loan to my first loan though. Nothing mentioned about the 2nd. I tried to call them and left a voice message. If they call back, I surely will ask them about the second lien program! Thank you.

To my knowledge, the servicer participation agreement that BofA signed is for HAMP only. They would have to sign up to participate in the second lien program (2MP) and to my understanding, have not done so.

It is reported that almost no servicers have signed up for 2MP since the incentives are so low. But Treasury is working on a better deal.

Re: On trial mod, submitted complaint on KPHO website!

I spoke with a rep from CEO and Office of President today. Her name is Juanice Neal. She called with an "unknown" number 3 times and the third time, I picked up. She said that I should continue my trial payment as told and send her all updated docs stated in her letter. She will be my contact from now on. Regarding my second loan which was originated with BofA, she said the system has not completely merged yet (Countrywide loan and BofA loan). She was told that it should merge by October 1st but she said it might take longer. So, I will mail her all the documents she asked for by October 8th and see what happens then. I will keep everyone updated. I am still so nervous with this whole process though!

Sounds like your getting on the second lien program to me. They are speeding up the process by starting it before you finish your first trial.

No, I don't think so. I will ask her though. I faxed all the documents and my surplus is only $242 now, since my employer just reduce my hours AGAIN recently! Anyone knows if this surplus is ok?Again, I will keep everyone updated. I am thankful to this forum. I've just been sick and so depressed lately that I don't visit as often (used to 3x/day) as I would like to. Best Wishes!
