Hi Sahm,

I wanted to see if you were able to get your paperwork straightened out, and also to see how things are going.

We are sitting and waiting for "the package", as I was notified by phone early last week that we were approved for the MHA modification. It will definitely be better to see it in writing!

Hi Skipper!

We made our first payment on the 24th of September (it was due 10/1). When we called in to make payment they did not charge us the $20 fee. She was pretty noisey and asked me why we fell behind on mortgage, if it had anything to due with utilities, and if our situation has gotten better since. I told her it has not gotten better - it has gotten worse as we just had to send 1 of 2 kids off to pre-school which is another $200 a month! It seemed like she was trying to trip me up a bit and say something I might regret. It came out of bank following day (25th). We have not gotten any more calls about missing info on paperwork. My DH will be calling in on Friday to make certain all is going well.

Sounds good. Was there any info as to how the payments that you missed will be reconciled back into your loan?

No! We have not specifically asked anyone but it did state in our paperwork these would go to the back of the loan! Hope the helps

Skipper, I will! Things have been so hectic here! We make our next mortgage payment on 11/1. I hope everything continues to go smoothly. And I hope you get your paper work soon. I hate the waiting game and even with making trial payments I am still in the "waiting game". Here's to us all!
