They have received all the docs requested at the beginning and several times later that hey claimed they never received them. All 3 of my payments were on time. Third payment was sent in early and check was negotiated by them 9 days before due on 9-12. Next on 9-21 a call telling me they needed 2 more docs. A letter about homeowners dues, a signed copy of tax return extension (they acknowledged that they had the form but wanted a signature on it), AND that they never received my hardship letter (3rd time) acknowledged that they received this twice before. All of these were resent immediately. They have acknowledged receipt of receiving these last week. Rep says they have everything, again. About 1 mth ago, my residency was verified and at the same time the man at my door told me to call 800-669-0102. He needed the reps name for his records for residency verification. And in that conversation I was told that I had a very good mod and that papers would be coming shortly and that I was scheduled for a 4th payment on Oct 1st. From reading the mha offer sent to me, decision time would be within 45 days of receipt of 3rd payment. I have complied fully with their offer sent to me. No papers have been received from them as rep told me. And I meet the mailman everyday. No bill for the 4th payment and nothing about an extension. I feel that I should not have to make a fourth payment without final papers signed. I could very well be being scammed out of all of these payments as they may lose more docs for their convenience to drag this out and at the end deny me after getting nothing but screwed out of my money. Approve me or deny me. But don't try to screw me. Advice? Opinions? Thanks |

Big question for you... did they send you a request IN WRITING for the "missing documents" needed to finalize a permanent modification? According to the trial period extension waiver, they MUST send a written notification. See here: https://www.hmpadmin.com/portal/docs...iver082609.pdf Of course, I love how it is all worded that the fault lies on the borrower. I can tell you that not once have I been asked to send in the IRS form yet it is listed on the hmpadmin site as one of the required documents. I think it is all a ploy by the servicers to intentionally drag things out and pin the blame on the borrower. |

But if I'm reading these threads right, people are getting strung along a LONG time. You're with Countrywide (I'm not) and I thought they were doing a little better on this, but I may be wrong. I'd say call, call, call and ama is right - get it in writing. When you talk with them, quote the info that ama sent. Be nice |

Only a call from the usual rep. and this time he was yelling at me on the phone! Thanks for the info on extensions. I will read it carefully. The only thing I have read about extensions is an extension for the borrower to summit missing docs and that would require a 4th 5th... trial payment. |

I think in the morning I will call the number listed on that "borrowers fault" extension and ask them to provide me with info on if there is a "servicers fault" extension for lies, abuse, and deception. I am not going to do them any favors. They offered this program to me and they take on responsibility when they offer a program. |
