Bank Sent (Bag Lady Looking) Titanium Rep Stops By Today

Hey fellow CW/BofA’ers:

How many of you have ever had the glorious “Titanium rep” come to your door during your foreclosure process? For those who have not had the privilege yet, it’s usually an agent that the bank sends to your door to say “call the bank” with fake empathy! And, they give you their Titanium business card w/ the same ole CW/BofA 800 collection # to call. Which I already do, maybe once a mo to update. This Titanium rep looked like a bad lady. Not to judge, mind you . But, come on. Couldn't you comb your hair before you left the house today? Put a little rouge and lip gloss on? tee hee hee Anyways, I was ready for this, as I'd read before who the Titanium folks are. Just desperate agents used by the banks as middlemen during the foreclosure process to motivate you to get off your arse to cure the note any way you can or via mod, or to scope out what’s going on at the ole (future) foreclosure property. What annoyed me was she was talking (loudly) and nonchalantly to me, asking me banking questions, etc. for neighbors to hear. I live in a very "on top of each other" condo complex. When a neighbor burps w/ their window open, you hear it! ha ha ha I just shoo-ed her away w/ "Thanks, but I always talk directly to my lender" in a nice manner. She tried to keep the jive talk going but I was nicely assertive and kept saying "Thanks, but I don't use any middlemen, I talk directly to my lender." She gave me her bogus (Titanium) business card (like I'm going to call her, yea, right). I'm just wondering where in the process this is, as I do keep in touch w/ the lender so there's no need for some bad lady, representing the bank, to come to my door to ask me stupid shyt and give me a 800 # I already have and use regularly. I'm wondering if it was also to report back to the bank that I am still here, too. Oh well. I tried to call the bank to play "check in w/ the idiot rep of the day" but of course, closed. I will play the game and call again on Monday. This is the only part I hate about this process. The lender "buggin you at the door w/ stupid stuff" routine while nosy neighbors watch the "foreclosure show" ! I could care less about the foreclosing part. It's the nosy neighbors I can't stand!

Thanks! I do think she was surprised at my persistent but nice "Thanks, but get lost" approach. I think they want you to start pouring your bank history heart out and act all dejected or something. She knew she had about 5 seconds w/ me as I kept giving the hints (nicely and with a big smile mind you, I LOVE to kill em w/ kindness ) and kept shoo-ing her away, bye-bye, shoo, get the hell out of here, get lost, go get a real job, lady! nice energy . Oops, I forgot, there are no real jobs out there, today!

Last week, Got a letter from them today.
She told me she was going to write a hardship letter for me. When I got it it was full of mis-spellings. So I sent her back the one I wrote to BA per Moe, Haven't heard from her since. I think one of the posters was right and they are pushing the short sale for the commission under the guise of being you friend

By the way, I gave mine a free head of cabbage out of the garden. I think she may have had good intentions personally but has been duped

That is pretty funny because I had a visit as well today from a "Titanium rep" and wanted to know if my house was in contract. Which it was till the end of august, but really if you are hired by the bank you should know all of this info....I told him to bug off. I live in NY

Here's a post from an agent on a real esate site:

"I can understand how this organization "Titanium Solutions" has so much bad press. When people show up on your doorstep like Johova's witnesses and expect a homeowner who is in default to invite them in and talk about their personal finances is the method, the means should be questioned. Furthermore, I have not read about much to do with the "results" that this organization gains for these homeowners. Lastly, to come across as a non-profit is way misleading! The end result is to gain referrals for possible Short Sales?

Those are my sentiments, exactly. When a homeowner is routinely in contact w/ their lender (which I am), what's the TS purpose? At first I DID think she was a Jehova's Witness! As they ring my bell every now and then. And, I was suspicious, as she looked like she sleeps in her car. Anyways, if the purpose of the TS visit is to encourage the distressed homeowner to communicate w/ their bank, to get something, anything going (mod, etc.), not sure how I ended up on her list. As I communicate regularly w/ my bank. The bank is regularly updated on my situation and stance re mod. So, I think the purpose was partly to see if someone's in the home and maybe a BPO, or something. But, according to some posts on that linked RE site, I guess there's alot of agents out there today making "friends" w/ all their distressed homeowner TS contacts! Duping more homeowners with "friendship." All these TS agents are presenting themselves now as "helping the little distressed homeowners" everywhere, just cuz "they care." Believe me, if they were still making a killing off of homeowners in some other capacity, bad lady wouldn't be knockin' on this gyrl's door!

That is so weird Irish. I've got a great idea for you. About what size is the woman? Let's get some clothes together for her and maybe some personal articles. Shampoo, hairspray, makeup, a COMB! If she returns or calls you, tell her you've put together some things for her or better yet, let the lender know that you have these things for her.

Got a letter from mine. After I showed her the letter I sent and loan safe she must have scared off LOL
She told me before she left I would thank her one day. Well that lasted one day. Her e-mail said she had sent a letter on my behalf and "good luck". And on top of that I got stuck on her mailing list,good news letter BS.
