Hmmmm --- what about sending letter to Registered Agent

Hmmm, I was thinking again, which sometimes cause me trouble....

When someone files a lawsuit--they have to serve the Registered Agent in their state.

I was thinking --- what about just sending a friendly, but firm letter to the Registered Agent and all the other big wigs listed on the corporation ?

Would that get any action? Instead of filing a lawsuit?

I found the info for Florida at sunbiz.org

Here's a direct link for Florida.

Re: Hmmmm --- what about sending letter to Registered Agent

Not a bad idea. I was a resident agent for years. Anytime I received communication on behalf of the corporations/entities I represented, I would (required by law) send it to my contact for the corporation. The resident agent really does not have anything to do with the operations of a corporation/entity.
A demand letter might be the right way to go. However, if we are demanding something, we need to follow it up with a lawsuit. A lot of reporters get their news from the court's daily filings. If we were to file suit, we would get some attention.
