Never did get a formal answer. Was told one time, can you send $963 per month? I said ok - they said, make it $1000. No paperwork or agreement - just send them money. After many, many, phone calls - I finally gave up. Put the house on market - got an offer for short sale in beginning of August. Appraiser has been here. But if I call BofA - recording says not to ask to speak to a representative - it will DELAY the review of my file. Now, I get a letter from my PMI company - saying they can work as a mediator between me and BofA to save my home. Where were they two months ago!!!! Regarding the $1000 the Treasury Department approved March, 2009 - it states servicers (BofA) will receive incentives to take alternatives to foreclosures, like short sales or deed in lieu. And borrowers are eligible for up to $1500 in relocation expenses. Has anyone gotten this? I think the odds of getting from BofA are equivalent to a snowball's chance in hell. I'm done - moving out next week - BofA can have the house if they can't get their act together to approve the short sale. |

I've been 'lurking' on this site for months - it was such a relief to know I wasn't in this boat alone. I have been reading the threads about Moe's discussions with BofA - I think its wonderful - someone finally got their attention!!! |

I've been lurking and posting and ranting and questioning and answering on this forum alot in the past few months, and now it seems all of a sudden the issue of the PMI companies is coming up. Is this a new phenomenon - them getting involved - or have I just not been seeing this? |
