Finally my online status has changed to Active processing which I understand means that my file has been assigned to a negotiator. How do you find out who your negotiator is and How long does it take until you hear from your negotiator? Also what contact information do they use. cell or home. I have been doing the calling all along and have made sure my contact information online on the BOA website is updated right. Any instight on this would be appreicated.

Sometimes they never call and you have to track it down. They should have all you numbers, but you just never know. Make sure they have all of them when you speak.

I was told on the phone that I was approved and documents would be sent to me. This was on 7/21. No one knows how long it will be to have documents sent to me. A BAC (bank of america corp) person, Irene Tapia, told me on Friday afternoon that the documents would be coming from Fannie Mae. No one knows a timeline. I received my calls on my cell because that is the only number I provided them with. The caller id reads "Call" or "no number". Be sure to answer that "type" of call. In the detailed information online, does it say, "please do not call until after [date]"? If it does not, I would call or email the office of the president and ask for the name and contact information for the negotiator on your file. The best of luck to you! |

Yes my online status says that if my status is unchanged by 10/29/2009 I should give them a call. However I'm afraid if I don't follow up the process would fall through the cracks. Your request for assistance is under review. During the review process, a thorough examination and analysis of your loan will be completed. During this time, we may or may not need additional information from you. It is common that you will not hear anything from us during the review period, but please be advised that all collections activities have been temporarily suspended during this review period. We expect more information to be available on 10/29/2009. If your status remains unchanged after the 10/29/2009, please call and speak to a customer service representative. Please do not call back before 10/29/2009 as that will delay the process. |

Remember, they are overwhelmed with telephone calls, etc. To give them respect and not to take time away from their work on another person's mod process, I would wait until 10/30. However, on that date, I will call repeatedly until I got an answer. |
