We have fought for months and months to get to this point and became members of loansafe.org, a community which is trying to help struggling homeowners retain their homes.
I invite you to visit this site and see for yourself how the banks, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other institutions which have received billions in taxpayer dollars are deliberately thumbing their noses at the very people who helped them. Not to mention they are deliberately disregarding the guidelines of the MHA program. It is time that the President who initiated these programs gets involved on a personal level with the homeowners and the banks to make this program work as it was designed, NOT as the banks choose to understand the programs.
There are thousands of members of loansafe.org who are begging for help and not receiving it. I invite the President and other members of the White House staff to monitor this site and see the injustices that are being handed out by the banks by starting trial modifications, accepting payments and then denying the final modifications, making requests for documentation that cannot possibly be given, and the general indifference the banks feel towards the American people.

I think this is all about bank balance sheets. they are carrying this crap for a reason. I think they are looking for some directions and waiting to see if the consumers pull themselves back by them selves. I think it works for them on their balance sheets and the way things are right now they look good even though its all about ripping off America via stimulus money. A lot of it that hasn't been spent. if they work it right they can go one way or the other depending on the politics and maybe get some more stimulus money while they are at it. The secret is to find out what the end game they are playing.

The people who can afford their homes and are in risk of default that need loan modification need to be helped. It is governed in their contacts with investors, it is government in the Making Home Affordable Program.

They also have several of you under the Attorney General Settlements.

He changed it to friday you mentioned - Did you meet him the next day, friday Oct 9 - 09 or ??

Or has Mr. Dan Frahm contacted you for another meeting ?

What seems to be the status of Mr. Frahm's intentions of actuallly meeting with you and working on Viable Solutions.

Are you able to obtain his vehicle license plate number as I have a good freind who works in the DMV and can locate home addresses for some quick pop up protests, with signs, yo yos, colored chalk, children on stilts, balloons, hells angels drivebyes and lots of people walking their dogs with protest sweaters and these dogs love to bark and HOWL all day and night.... Jusy a quick little pop up protest to say HI & HELP US

Calling the media to make a stop buy would be fun too

Just kidding of course - At for now I am kidding

I was served my lis pendens yesterday and when the server saw that it was BofA she just gave me this sorry face and said "Honey, this bank doesn't work with anyone!" Good luck to you! Awww, that hurt! I'm calling this Ann Corter lady every day and hoping that Phoenix mass emailing would have had an impact...Guess not, no answers and no call back! Now i'm really scared. I'm not even sure how to respond to this Lis Pendens or how much longer after this I actually have....

I do admit, as I did earlier, not sure how to proceed, I keep calling BofA, no return phone calls, nothing since I submitted my financials to the bank. I don't know how to answer the Lis Pendens and I can't even call the bank through their regular 800 CS number because THEY said that I can't verify the information THEY have on file for me!!! LOL, go figure, I guess I don't know my own social security number. I can't get any information on my loan, it's crazy stuff and i'm heartbroken.

Call the FloridA Attorney General, Bill McCollum, and also contact Florida's Office of Financial Regulation. Not sure if they will be there tomorrow because of Columbus Day--but try --- and if not-- call them Tuesday...

I would also contact the Governor, your state senator and state rep=--you can try Senator Bill Nelson, but I haven't had much luck with these elected officials-- but you never know.

I think at this point-- try the Florida Atty General and the Office of Financial Regulation--- they can guide you in the right direction..

I have been lerking around for a couple months now and I really do applaud you. We need someone like you on our side. I don't have the long months of going back and forth with BoA but I know if I run into any snags along the way I can count you you and the rest of the Loansafe gang to help and give advice. I have been trying for over a month to get some solid answers from BoA. So far I have run into alot of people telling me different things. Last week I was told I was approved for the first round of Making Homes Affordable and I am supposed to get a package in the mail soon, and not to call back until mid to late Nov. No idea when or how many times I'll have to call after that date passes.

Is anyone here divorced, ex still on the loan but you are 100% responsible for the mortgage payment? Well, that's the boat I'm in. Sandy (in loan retention dept) said BoA will want to see our (ex husband and mine) monthly budgets. I'm concerned because we have been divorced for almost two years and I could be turned down for assistance because of him. I hope to God they work with me because I am trying so hard. I won't go into my situation now but like everyone here I have a major hardship. What hurts me the most is we bought this major fixer upper at the HEIGHT of the boom and I made a very bad decision of putting my inheritance into the house. Wish I would of had that crystal ball back then...

Have you contacted your State Bar Association? They have attorneys who work pro bono and maybe even be able to direct you to some lawyers who work on a fee based on your income? Just a thought. I wish I could help.

No. I thought this was so easy. They provide a channel through this forum for homeowners to apply and get help. I feel it is so simple. You either qualify for a loan modification or you do not and a short sale is the next route.

This forum reaches more of their struggling clients than any another website on earth.

I didn't hear that. I have protested at a few CEO homes in my time and this is a way to make it personal. They do take notice when a 100 angry people/homeowners that are getting kicked out of their homes by these same dudes show up at these multi million dollar estates.

Dan Frahm is fairly new at Bank of America and I feel has no part in the past abuses you all have suffered. I feel he is not in charge here and is only a liaison to the powers at be which would be Barbara Doeseor and fellow execs.

Waiting hours and hours and hours only to be told, "Sorry, we can't see you." We go back the next day and the next day, still unable to see us. There were more than 40 thousand here in Vegas.

Hi Garry, me too thank you. I think they should have had two separate lines for the Vegas people and the California people. The thing is, all the California people had vouchers from the L.A event and they told them to come here and wouldn't have to wait. SUCKS! I don't mean to complain, but felt it wasn't fair at all. But then, life isn't fair .
