ok, so just got off the phone again , and was told that we dont qualify for MHA , because fico did not show imment default and income basically stayed the same for the last 2 years, basically our income was not reduced, so we dont qualify by B O A's imminent default checklist, even though we totally qualify with debt to income ratio, high mortgage payment, almost 40%, . i was told it was up to each servicer to follow their own guidelines on if they thought you were at risk of default, so we are back to square one, where they tell you to basically defualt, and then they will see. what a crock.
you show them how much debt, you have to how much income, and that loan is seriously underwater, and that you pass npv, but because some stupid negotator decides you wont default you are done. so they take money and dont spread it on. so now what is our recourse? do the banks want to have all these foreclosures on the market, do they want to fight lawyers instead of everyday folk

The banks are all nothing but liars. They could careless about us or their property we are renting from them. If they foreclose and they sell the property 40% leass then what they loaned us, it will mean nothing to them but a simple write off. It shows a huge loss for them, IRS doesn't care, the lying government doesn't care.

I hate to say it but I have come to the conclusion I don't care about their rent payments either so I haven't paid since Feb. They will not get one more buck from my pocket...

I agree that they are liars. Plain and simple. The only way to change them is to fight, boycott and refuse to do business with them. Cut off food (money) to the snakes and it will eventually kill them.

I'm on the phone right now with them. I don't believe their is any kind of program at all. Its a ruse. I sent 15 pages of financial info to straighten up mt account, Now I get a call from them. I'm om hold right now. I'm ticked from the start having to use the automated answering service. Complete BullSh**

They ask the same dam questions when you get a person.

This person had no idea what was going on and could not verify the 13 pages of info I faxed this morning. The reason she called was to tell me I was behind on pmts and the notice of intent had expired. No sh*t Sherlock. I hung up.

I agree boogs and slim, I have been here for 2 and a half years and have seen about 18,0000 slims come through this forum with just about the same story. You would think that this is some kind of pattern?

Truth is the people calling you are from collections. They have no idea who they are calling as it is done via an automated dialing system, hence the reason to re-state your name, etc, even though they called you. The customer service reps will have no idea who you are or what is going on with your file. They are just trying to collect the money due on your account. Don't waste your time fighting with them. Just say "no thanks, I would not like to make a payment today" and "I am trying to get a loan modification". They will have no clue you sent a fax whatsoever and will have no way to help you either. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache you'll get trying to explain things to them...it's just not worth wasting the air you breathe!
