Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | maximum amount that can be capitalized Has anyone been told there is a maximum amount that can be capitalized? i.e. arrears and escrow shortages. I have not seen anywhere that a maximum has been stated in the rules of the HAMP, but was told by Countrywide/BOA that the maximum is $50,000 |

I think they are just making up the rules as they go! But you are right...I've never seen any mention of a maximum amount in the HAMP guidelines. All it says is to capitalize the arrearage. I can't see what difference it would make! |
