Well, I can't say I am surprised....

Hi all,

Fannie Mae is our investor and they offered us a 3 month forbearance through CW/BofA. Naca said three months beginning Oct 1, David Leighton said 3 months beginning Oct 1, the paperwork arrives actually two packages arrive same day Four month trial first payment due Sept 1...WTH?? So my paperwork arrives AFTER my first payment was due? First payment date different and the starting date a month earlier than told....

I have tried calling David L. can't get him today, NACA negotiator has NEVER bothered to call or email me once. Kevin Winn, I left him a voice mail and email.

Not sure what to do, naturally they send me the paperwork screwed up and proceed to insist it be returned by the 11th.

I accepted last week and the papers arrived Friday so I think it was only about two to three days. But let us not forget, they are wrong....

So you got two packages, one for a forbearance, and one for an MHA trial?

No I got two packages that are almost exactly the same. They are offering the same exact offer I believe. Both wrong...They are both to be returned to TX.

As long as there's no word that says trial I guess, I would hate to think your looking at a trial offer and thinking it's a forbearance. It has happened.

Make sure they are exactly the same.

I was told that my trial starts in August, few days later I received the package with a September 1 starting day!

Re: Well, I can't say I am surprised....

Hi all,

I got the paperwork on the 4th, they sent it the 3rd, and it was due the 11th!! I tried ALL WEEK to get some sort of answer from NACA or David L and I just could not get any communication going. Finally Kevin Winn called me yesterday and said he thought it should be a four month not three... but when I told him that he AND David L. said three month forbearance with payment beginning in Oct NOT Sept he agreed I should not sign it, and sent that to BoA while I was on the phone and copied David L. That is all I know because I have heard nothing from anyone since.

It says "Special Forbearance" So I don't think it is a trail thing.

Why would they tell you not to sign it? It's only a forbearance. 3 months is better than 0 months.

Re: Well, I can't say I am surprised....

The problem is the payment started on Sept 1 instead of Oct 1, and I got the paperwork after that date. It just is so typical. I think they are just trying to get an extra payment out of me.... If they had EXTENDED it to four months, fine, but to push the payment UP a month and I still finish on Dec 1, what is in it for me? I just have to pay a payment earlier.

Tartbird -
you are aware that David L. got promoted and someone else will be taking over for him, right? There's a separate thread about it on here.

Wouldn't it be smarter to sign it and be safe for three months, then get another or go to the next step?
