This is a discussion on Denied Forbearance within the Countrywide Home Loans - Tell Us Your Countrywide Story forums, part of the Stop Foreclosure and Tell Us Your Story category; I have another question to my previous post. Has anyone every denied a forbearance and what happened?...

I cannot even say for sure what loan mod I got denied for (the forbearance agreement said I was not eligible for a loan mod but never said if it was HAMP or their own kind). I was never contacted by anyone to send in financial documents, hardship letter, nothing...just called in with income info and months later I got the forbearance letter. I don't know what happens if you turn it down, I just let the time to accept it run out. |
