Who should be doing the test? Looks to me like the servicer, not the investor. The investor/lender may be the ones to actually run the calculation, but sure seems like the servicer is the one to submit the loan data and retrieve those results! I wish I worked for BofA so I could have insider details and blow the whistle on them!!! |

They have all those worksheets specifically for the servicer (agreements and such) so IMO, it would be the servicer. Although I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with BOFA providing the opinion...they'd probably say they did the NPV and it's worth it to foreclose, when it really isn't. | |
