I sent an e-mail to the Office of the President on Tuesday and never got a call back. However, I did call Bank of America and was told that we are now assigned a negotiator on Wednesday. I have since then tried calling Caesar Ramos only to get his voicemails. I've left several messages and no return call. Does anyone have any idea who his supervisor is? I don't have time to waste our sale date is in a week. Thank you

Dear Ms Desoer,

I am writing this e-mail in regards to my commitment to rectifying my Mortgage dilemma. I have recently been "pre-approved for a loan modification. I have attempted to gain clarification through your home retention center and am unable to get any clarification. I have been told that I will here something according to a voice message on Nov 24 2009 or now Dec. 3 2009 by a representative. I have also been told that all collection activity has stopped only to have attempts to collect when I call for clarification. I am anxious to resolve my mortgage modification quickly and in a way that is beneficial to both parties. I have submitted all requested paperwork. Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak directly with a loan negotiator to achieve clarification and progress in this matter

Ceasar Romos was suppose to be my negotator but I could never get him on the phone. All I got was his voice mail. I got so mad that I called BofA and got another negotator Marchellio Riley. When Mr. Riley called he informed me that my modificiation was going to be reducing my interest rate from 7% to 5% since I had an FHA. I told him that just wasn't good enough. I then sent a email to Barbara and on momday 11/2/09 I received a phone call from Theresa Chula. She told me to fax my documents to a John D. This was done. On wednesday I received a phone call from my negotator Mr. Riley asking me if I had called and complained about my modification. I told him yes. I was told that I could qualify for the HAMP program back on 9/30/09 and now I get a offer to cut my interest rate 2% and put my back payments into the loan. I told him if I could not afford 1900 how was I going to handle 1700. He told me to fax more document and I did. On Friday 11/6/09 I received a phone call from a Mr. Truman asking me to fax another piece of information and told me that things were looking good. About an hour later I received another call from Mr. Riley telling me that we did not qualify for the HAMP program and that he was requesting some paper work and we would be getting our interest reduced by 2% and that our next payment would be due on 1/1/2010 in the amount of $2010.00 by cashier check. Our new payment was going to be 1700.00.
So here we go again. I called the BofA and the message on my loan is that our account in under review all collection activity has been suspended etc. Not to contact until 12/10/09 since this could stop the process. I spoke to the bank again to find out what is going on and the notes only say that our loan is being looked at for a modification. Do these people know what they are doing? I could sure use some advise!!!!!

FHA has different guidelines for HAMP. If you have not read up on them, please do so: Making Home Affordable Program Extended to Include FHA Insured Mortgages. Also note that BofA may not understand all of them yet seeing as how long they have taken to get the regular HAMP program rolling which came out in March. FHA-HAMP came out in August. Sorry for all the crap you are dealing with...you are not alone, though. Lots of other folks on here with FHA loans.

I am under the same situation as you Ceasar Ramos was my negatiator never called me back I called him at least 30 times and left 14 messages and nothing. I finally got a hold of someone in the Office of the President and CEO who told me we didn't qualify for anything and that Ceasar did review it. I'm just astonsished seeing as he never called nor talked to us to see if anything could be done. We also have an FHA loan and it is crazy. We got a new negotitator assigned to us today so hopefully this one will actually return calls and help us.

I read through this any idea what the 55 percent includes it says your reccuring debt payments but I don't know if that would just be your credit card debt or utilities also? Any suggestions would be helpful I called the number on there but the guy was no help and just made me irritated.

I haven't had luck getting in touch with her and there is no option to leave a voicemail.

I'm working with Naca, but they haven't heard anything yet either.


Since I can't talk with my negotiator, then my call gets redirected to the collections department. My experience has been unpredictable as I either get a collector whose only purpose is to collect your money or someone who can't tell you anything other than what you know already.

Please advis.

Hi, I'm new to this also. I did see that EstherL had the same situation as I did with Ryan Jimenez. He was very polite, but I also have to FAX a financial worksheet.
He did give me his email and FAX: ryan.jimenez@bankofamerica.com
and his fax 661.951.2507, if that's any help. I'm sure his email is SWAMPED.

Thanks for all the info I really appreciate it. I have received an email from Dan Siegel that guy that was supposed to help referred by 10news, however he is not a lawyer but has a homeowner counselling website like Moe. He is asking for a Donation first, then my paperworks which he is going to give to someone I don't even know. So I was hesitant to email my documents because of identity theft and I only have $100 in my checking that I cannot touch because we just opened a new acct with another bank. I can't find . him in BBB either so I am back to square one.

There's bachbaron in this forum who said that BA did the same thing to him and he was surprised to see the amt in his account, he also will close his accts with BA but he called them and was told of something, I am not so clear I forgot, I am beginning to worry myself because sometimes I forget words and forget where I was. Sometimes I feel like emptying my mind just to remember what I am going to do, I hope it's not AZ but only headache. I can't see a doctor Kaiser denied my coverage.

Yes, Barbara's email worked! Sent 2 emails and no response, but after a week I called and the Home Retention told me that my case has been transferred to OOP! I spoke to Mary from that department. Later today Rayan Jimenez called telling me that they are investigating my account. He said that I will not get a negotiator. ??? That is not what I was told by Mary from OOP. Mary told me that by the beginning of next week I will have a negotiator. Rayan doesn't work in OOP, but in Home Retention.

Emailing again to Barbara Desoer in reference nothing has happened since then, more than 3 months, and received a call from Steve Nielsen stated to cantact Erica Guevar. Two days later received a letter from Steve Nielsen and stated to contact Stacy Adams. After several calls to everybody, finally get Tania contacted me directly. Now we are playing the tag game with the documents and the budget, again with the budget, all fashion mod style. It is supposed to based my loan approval in my expense budget ? I have a surplus of $140 but there are so many things not included in this ridiculous expense budget. Thank you for all your posts!
