?Boa account status..

Well, wasn't surprised to see that my loan modification update was not posted until AFTER they received a payment- until then it didn't show they had anything but magically they found the paperwork the next day after payment was received

But I have a question on the account status:

On the main account page it says my account requires special attention to please call 1.800.669.6607..

However it says under modification work out page to NOT call until After 9/30 and that calling would further delay the process.

I'm sure this has been covered before but thanks in advance for any tips on to call or not to call.....

My guess is that I would be transferred to collections and I'd prefer not to talk to those guys

Um....I call almost everyday. It doesn't make sense how that could 'delay' the process. You should call as much as you feel the need to. For example; I called in on 8/12. I wanted answers and to know when my mod package would come. There was no new answers. Lo and Behold the next day FOUR new documents were posted to my account. I do not believe they would have posted unless I called in. It is your home and your life....call as much as you need to. I am working with Suzanne and she just said to me "some people call in and apologize for calling so much and being a bother' and she told them it was their HOME & to call as much as they needed too! It's so true!!!

Mine says the same thing. I've been emailing my negotiator and he's been great about responding. Don't sweat it if you contact them...I think they're just trying to cut down on the phone calls.

savingparadise,how do you get to the modification work out page.mine says the same as yours,but never seen anything on the bofa website for modification status?

Aloha Chow,
On the left hand is a long list of account info you can access. There should be one saying Financial Hardship, under which is a link to Financial Hardship (general info) and then a link to Workout Information. Click on Workout Information- there you can see what documents they have received and what your account status is. Hope this helps.

PS Chow- the Financial Hardship Links were not available to me until after the payment posted, before then it was a short list of limited choices and it kept directing to a Promise to Pay page.
