I wasn't home when they called, they left a message on the answering machine. Is this a good sign? This is the first message anyone from B of A has left for us. Thanks, Rose |

I would take it as a positive sign. They are likely calling to find out more in depth details on your situation. If they plug in and "run" some numbers for you and tell you don't qualify for help, don't take it seriously. You'll be dealing with the customer service reps who are often not too up to speed on the program guidelines, etc. Take note, Home Retention is also debt collections (yeah I know, catchy name!). If you are late on payments, they will call you to try and collect on your debt. Just don't let yourself stress too much if they tell you anything negative. Best of luck and keep us posted! |

Will try to call them in the morning as I don't feel like battling them right now. Keep your fingers crossed. Thanks again, Rose |

The CSR I talked to took my information on line regarding income and expenses. She took both our gross and net income. After all is said and done she says we did pre-qualify for Making Home Affordable. She said the standard, we should hear within 45 days. Trying not to get my hopes but keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks everyone, Maggie |

If you have to, hang up and call back, and call, and call. Keep it up till you talk to someone that will help and not try to moneyu out of you. Good luck and keep us posted..... |
