Looks like we may be getting a resolution! I called David L. again this morning, he's so nice! Anyway he said they sent an offer to NACA about my account and that he couldn't tell me more than that. So I waited 40 min or so on the phone with NACA (surprised?) to talk to a councelor and he told me the following:
They sent a PRELIMINARY offer of 2% interest, $2550 P/I (right now we have interest only payment of $2712) With taxes and insurance it's $2968!
So it looks good, not as low as I had hoped (or thought) because it's over the 31% of our income, but it's fairly close. I'm not sure this is including the 2nd or not, I'm assuming no, I also don't know if it's 30 or 40 years I have to wait to talk to the NACA negotiator hopefully soon...
Regardless, this is a good outcome and I really want to thank all of you And this forum for the help and guidance. Now I just need those papers to sign!!!
