Declined - Loan Modification Forum

Hello,

I just called NACA because it has been over 120 days. They informed me that my restructure was decline as of July 23 and no one called me. I asked the representative why I didn't receive a call or email and she stated that they were and still is on tour in Atlanta. She also informed me that someone will call me back next week with more information concerning my file. Has anyone got decline and the negotiator had to re-sent your file? Please help with some answers!

Hello, I don't know if this will help or not, but we were declined on Thursday of last week. I called David Leighton, and he re-submitted our file. I asked why we were declined, and he stated we had a deficit of $1,000. Which was BULL. He went over our file, and said we had a $205 surplus. I would call him and ask why. He's a BIG help.

I was declined around May this year, if I remember correctly by BoA through NACA. My file was resubmitted a gain by Naca in June. They declined me because they said I had a second mortgage which is bull. I cannot even afford a bycicle in addition to my killer mortgage that I currently have. I contacted Naca and resubmitted everything again. BoA has it now and still playing the waiting game. I emailed Barbara and David L this past saturday, thanks to my coming to this site. I called David today and left a message but I have not heard from either him or Barbara's office yet. I am still waiting. So dont give up because they declined you. You need to keep fighting. Hope this will help you.

I've left him several messages on his voice mail, but don't think he's very good at calling back. But when you do get him, he's great! I'd call him until you can actually reach him.

If you don't mind.... What type of modification were you requesting? Was through NACA?

i got declined never recieved a call file has been resubmitted who knows whats up

Hi Skipper, it was through NACA. Submitted April 28, they never received it, so called David directly in July. After speaking with him, my status on the bofa website changed! We have an FHA (Ginnie Mae) 5.85% fixed. Probably why they don't want to help, but then again, lots of people here have awful loans who also don't get help.

Sorry to hear it... Are you going to try for a Making Home Affordable modification (I think FHA can do it after 8/15)?

Thank you. Yes we are. He put us back in for a MOD, but not sure exactly what kind of MOD...hoping it's for the FHA-HAMP

David is wonderful! I e-mailed him for the first time on Sunday and he actually called me back a few hours later! Maybe e-mails get more attention as opposed to messages. I know my e-mails are more easily accessed than voicemail. Just a suggestion....

I was declined and then offered a mod later. I was declined by the investor. NACA never informed me, but I found out the day it happened (was stalking my online account) and informed them. A few weeks later a HOPE dept mod showed up at my door. NACA was not aware of this mod. I sent them the mod to get their approval/opinion, but never heard back from them. I called twice a week for a couple of weeks and then eventually (last week

) went ahead w/ the mod. Still haven't heard from NACA (despite promise after promise that a supervisor will call me back 'by the end of the day').

itsjustme...I know the NACA nightmare..same happened to me...HOPE mod is the one I went with..one week after I signed that mod NACA emails me with a really bad mod...I give up on them...sent them a letter telling them I am dropping them.
