How Long??

How long did your status say 'active processing' and what did it change to next....approved? And how long did that take? This week will be 3 weeks for me. It took about a week and a half for my documents to show up. Also, how long did the entire mod process take? How long to get documents sent via fedex?

If you go to page 21 of the thread titled NACA/CW April Restructure Submittalss you will see a chart that shows how long some of the mods took.

Hi Sahm,

I spoke to the negotiator briefly on Friday. He said hopefully no longer than three to for weeks for me to receive the MHA package (which he did confirm that it looks like I was approved... Keeping the fingers crossed!).

Hope this helps.

Re: How Long??

We submitted everything in Feb and did not get anything to happen until a week and a half ago after we contacted the OOP. Our status said active processing from May until last week and now it shows that there is nothing going on. It never showed any documents. We got our package for the MHA program a week after we contacted the OOP and two days later someone called making sure we got the package and hoping that we were going to send it in soon.

See we contacted the OOP & they said we were put as a VIP status but it has still been about 3 weeks and nothing....it does show documents that have been sent & active processing as well.

Re: How Long??

SAHM and Skipper, looks like the 3 of us are all on the same page. I talked to Susan on Friday to ask why docs hadn't been uploaded and checking on the status of our mod, and letting her know that August payment wasn't happening. She said she was putting in a note to have my negotiator call me today. I'll keep you posted on what I hear.

I hear you... I was able to get hold of the negotiator for a brief moment today, he explained that I was "approved to submitted for review for the MHA modification...". I believe he meant that my situation meets the requirements for the MHA program, and that I am now subject to review by the lender (Freddie Mack) for approval.

When I asked about when I could expect the "Trial Payments" to begin, he said that would be after a review/approval of my request. He reiterated that the time-line should be three to four weeks, but it could also be a little sooner or a little later, and to check back in two weeks. So...hopefully in time for September, but most likely October.

This process is not easy!

Re: How Long??

Hello,
I was wondering since it appears some of you submitted documents around the same time I did, if you went through the normal channels of BOFA or the office of the president?I just called up and after talking to what seemed 10 people was told to fax documents.Web site shows only
that they received the doc's and it's General under work out section.Do you think it would be a good idea to email oop and ask for status?I am also curious if the fact that I do not have PMI helps or hinders my MOD chances?

I took some others advice & emailed David. He called us today & we were not home...so I left him a voice mail. Maybe he can help push things along? If he doesn't seem like he can do much then tomorrow I will email the OOP.

I also have pmi...$310 a month of pmi! I do not think it hurts your chances. I know with the refi the pmi cases were pushed off. If I were you I would contact the OOP just to be sure things are moving as fast as they should be
