Another Update(Re: DTI) - Loan Modification Forum

We got a call today from the lady who said we were upside down. I had a feeling she was reading my paystubs wrong(and they were going by our NET income not our GROSS) but being a truckdriver i am able to take an advance of my paycheck each week up to $200. It gets deducted on my paystubs and is located under advance deductions. I asked the lady if she was adding that back in for the total NET amount...and of course they weren't! and we were only off by like $160 so by the time they add the advance pay back in we are not upside down!! She says she will probably wait til the 15th with the new program...and that it should take a month.... .I sure hope this is it and we can get this done. Keeping fingers crossed!

We also left a message with that useless USLAC and saying we wanted a refund otherwise we would be filing a complaint.

Again, i am so grateful for this forum!

Oh! BOA, it is very frustrating to deal with them sometimes, well, let's say most of the times. Are you being qualified for HAMP?

We've only been dealing with them for a week, for the last 4 months we have been dealing with USLAC(Paid them $1000, in which we are seeking a refund) and that has been stressful. Hopefully since we contacted Barbara we won't have too many frustrations since we seem to have someone who actually "cares" lol...

I keep seeing this posted about a new program on the 15th. The only one I am aware of is that FHA loans will now be included with the HAMP (but with some other guidelines that apply). I wonder if this is also the date for implementing the second lien program (modifying second mortgages)? Guess we'll all just have to wait and see!

Sadly, she is waiting until the 15th as a stalling tactic, in my opinion ?

Unless your loan is FHA, as mentioned by ama125, in my opinion, the Aug 15 program, which is probably only for FHA loans will do you no good at all

- As a matter of fact the FHA program of Aug 15 will cause more OVERLOAD to us all, as more people will be calling and sending in paperwork to B of A and NACA etc for their FHA loans

Is your loan an FHA loan or is it owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or Ginnie Mae or BONY / Bank Of New York or ??? That is one of the most important things to know - WHO OWNS / WHO'S THE INVESTOR of your loan -

We all must not forget that CW / Bank of America, most of the time is not the investor / owner of the loan ---

ALL THAT Bank of America really is.... is just the Greedy, Self Serving, Obnoxious, Uncooperative, Defrauding, Terroristic, Malicious, Mercenary Middle Man, a.k.a. The Swindling SERVICER of our loans..
