Dti??

I posted before about how they told us we were upside down and our output was more than our input.... After reading on here your DTI is based on gross income, right? My gross is usually around $1000 a week(even with missing a pay period in July due to no work) so i should of at least grossed 3-3500 for the month of July(without looking at my paystubs...i keep them in the truck and the one i have at home is gross $1083 and that is with $240 that was unpaid accidentally) Our monthly expenses are only $2675.... I could understand being upside down if they were going by NET but not by Gross? I'm going to have to email my negiotiator and ask her what her figures are because that seems to be off if its gross income.... I didn't think to ask and she never told me how much of a difference we were off by.... but i just wanted to post first and make sure it was Gross income?

Re: Dti??

Hi Marty74,

The lenders will go off your gross income when calculating your DTI..

Re: Dti??

I know i am in the same situation as you with similar numbers 4400 gross net 3800 total bills 4200 i keep being denied because of insufficient income to but doesn't make sense because other people have told me they go off of gross to let me know what they tell you
