FHA loan mod success?

Just wondering if anyone who has a FHA loan has had any success with loan modification (through Naca or otherwise). I've seen success stories with other investors but have not noticed any with FHA loans. I'm starting to think the reason my mod is taking so long is because it's an FHA and I'm hoping I'm not wasting my time keeping my hopes up if I will eventually get denied because of my loan type. Thank goodness MHA will start accepting FHAs soon.

Re: FHA loan mod success?

Hi fairlady,

Yes hopefully we will see a lot more FHA loans approved through the MHA program coming soon.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Re: FHA loan mod success?

Thanks for responding Evan. Makes me wonder if I have been wasting my time waiting through Naca if no one has had success in this area. Plus I'd hate to waste my time going to Naca's tour if they are going to reject me because of a fha. I suppose time will tell. I'm just glad that soon I will have the MHA available as an option soon though I hate the thought of starting the process all over again. It's been over 90 days as is.
