My original date to call back was 8/19/09. Now it jumped to 9/8/09. Can they make it anymore stressful? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Hi everyone, I got this message for about a month like some of you have posted "Your request for assistance is under review. During the review process, a thorough examination and analysis of your loan will be completed. During this time, we may or may not need additional information from you. It is common that you will not hear anything from us during the review period, but please be advised that all collections activities have been temporarily suspended during this review period. We expect more information to be available on 08/05/2009. If your status remains unchanged after the 08/05/2009, please call and speak to a customer service representative. Please do not call back before 08/05/2009 as that will delay the process..." So I called BofA/CW, and the representative told me that it takes a minimum of 90 days. I tried to explain that I had applied since March... She would just keep silence and asked if I have any other questions. She was really rude... while I was being polite and desperate. I went through ACORN... What should I do now? Any advice would be very helpful. I don't want them to just cancel my application that some of you posted on here. Many thanks, John |

Anyhow, they told me my application was denied because I was on time with my payment. Wow... I was borrowing money to try to keep good faith with them. I'm going to apply again and stop my payment. This is ridiculous! I guess if they want, they can have the house |

Can't help because you make too much... Can't help because you don't make enough... Can't help because not Fannie/Freddie backed... Can't help because you are Fannie/Freddie backed... What can they do? Drive us crazy.... Take our life savings... Destroy our credit.... Take our home.... and LIE to us. Talk about life lessons! I have never seen so much inconsistency in my lifetime! Good Luck everyone! |

Hi john1233, I have seen homeowners get approved in less than 90 days and also some who were current on their mortgage as well. Whoever you have talked to is just trying to make you jump through hoops.. You need to call call and call again until you get someone on the phone who is actually willing to be of assistance.

Thanks everyone, so my ACORN counselor told them that because I have applied for HMA, it would be illegal for them to cancel my application. Thus, my application is active again. However, I need to wait another minimum of 90 days before any information on my account will be posted. I sent an email to Barbara... hoping she'll expidite the process. In the meantime, I don't know if i should just stop my morgage payment since I might lost the house. Thanks again everyone... you guys rocks! John |
