FHA loans and MHA (HAMP)

I just posted this on another thread, but felt it deserved its own separate posting as well...

For those with FHA loans, the Home Affordable Modification has been amended to include FHA loans effective 8/15/09:
HUD News Release 09-137

ama,

Do you know if FHA loans can have a deficiency with the new program? I know the program hasn't been released yet. If you know anything in more detail than what is posted, please let us know. Thanks!

I don't know anything more than what has been posted so far, but it is supposed to be implemented on 8/15 so we may see more details at that time. Sorry, wish I had more to report.

Thanks for posting. I will use that option if things don't work out through Naca. But still hoping for the best.
