Re: Negotiator assigned-- Tabitha

To my understanding Tabitha is not a negotiator. She just monitors the process of the modification. She makes sure there is movement on your file and that it's just not sitting there. That's what she told me when I called her. I had a different person assigned to me and Tabitha was suppose to monitor her. I'm no longer being assisted by them because I am with NACA. Good Luck!

Re: Negotiator assigned-- Tabitha

Well thanks to both of you Helpsave and 2much !

Negotiator or not, there is SOMEONE that is aware of my presence and THAT is a step in the right direction. I am hoping to go with NACA too, am waiting my 2nd appointment on Monday. But lie I said at least my account has some movement. I LOVE this forum.... it is like a safe haven for people going this alone like me.... and believe me i STUMBLED acros this loking for a "modification company" WHEW ! what an education I have gotten in the short time here... there IS a higher power out there. (and I don't mean the banks!)

I have been with NACA since January and somehow, mysteriously, my file ended up 'closed' twice...during that time, it ended up with Tabitha, who had called me and said she was the negotiator, but she was sending my file back to Advocacy because it shouldn't have been closed out.

If thats the correct spelling of her name, then that should b eit.

i have tried e-mailing my negotiator several times, she doesnt reply though. I do know that she gets them though as she left me a telephone message yesterday saying she got my e-mail.

Re: Negotiator assigned-- Tabitha

bittersweet, sorry, I never did have an email address for her, but as alikeith said, that should be correct. It has been my experience that negotiators don't respond to their emails for some reason. When I had to call Tabitha, I called BofA and asked for her and they had to transfer me to her line.

minknmelissa....I emailed Barbara before I signed up with NACA. After I signed up with NACA I asked the counselor if I should continue working directly with the bank to get a modification on my own. He said that could be a plan B if NACA cannot get me a solution. I was assigned a negotiator but my account was screwed up. So I had to wait for the account to be fixed before the negotiator can work on my mod. Once the account was corrected the rep called me to tell me the negotiator will start working on my mod and Tabetha will monitor the process. A few days before this I saw an approved mod on my online account. I called Tabetha 2 days after being told they will be working on my mod to find out if the approved mod was what NACA had proposed. It wasn't...she then told me she had to close out my file because I was working with naca. So I didn't get an offer from them. I guess I shouldn't have been so curious, huh? I still keep in contact with the rep from the office of the chairman. She is like another David L. .....too bad she isn't a negotiator.

If I remember correctly...the rep spelled out the name for Tabetha Mckeller for me. She always picked up the phone when I called. Here's her number if you don't have it already...(800) 405-0078 X5583

I asked the question and the reason they don't (or rarely) respond to e-mails is because of possible PII data. If your full name, social, loan number, etc are in the e-mails they'll call you to let you know they received it, or delete out the PII and respond. In the emails I've sent I've always as for an e-mail confirmation to let me know they've received it. The advocacy department was fine with that, but the negotiator I have wasn't willing (she called me).

Re: Negotiator assigned-- Tabitha

The 1st negotiator that was working on my file told me that they can only recieve and cannot respond to emails. Guess they're just allowed internal emailing. But reps from the chairmans office can reply.
